xkcd: Movie Narrative Charts
Also, I have long held Monty Python as the greatest evidence that you don't need money to make a freaking hilarious film. Making a sweet action film--yes. Sweet drama--yeah, sure. Really funny movies, though, can be made on the serious cheap.
IMO there are a few potential roadblocks:
1) Random chance (injuries, illness, having a really bad game)
2) TP/the passing game not progressing as much as we'd like
3) Holes in the secondary
4) Special teams
If not for JT, I would be considerably worried about #4, special teams. Our...
 I watched pi once (immediately after Requiem for a Dream) and Requiem twice.
I can safely say that the first experience (watching them back-to-back) is one of the most disturbing movie-watching experiences I've ever had, and the only way I can think of to beat that would be to add on a...
I tend to agree with you in general... Just wondering.. Aren't you a little worried about the fact that both Graham and Miller have had serious injury problems in H.S.? For me, that makes me lean towards taking Cordale.. In fact a heavy lean. Just don't see any reason why we shouldn't expect...
I'm not Christian and BG can probably answer this better and more knowledgeably than I can, but:
I think one of the generally accepted messages of that parable is that it does not matter when one 'converts' to Christianity--the rewards will be the same. By 'converts' to Christianity, I mean...
Wasn't his a hamstring injury?
Not that it matters, of course--it's still the same thing. It's hard as heck to go full-go on anything that's been injured. There's just always the fear of "what if it comes back again?" Especially if it's something that you had surgery on... You just become timid...
Eh... What's a verbal commitment mean, anyway?
Commit to USC, get laid whenever you want for the next 5 years, and then decide where you wanna go. The simple life.
Henderson/Moses/Anderson would indeed be a great finish.. But it has me scratching my head a little. That's 3 guys with questionable academic standing, unless I'm mistaken. Plus weren't Hankins and Williams questionable as well?
Is there any chance Anderson has a conditional offer--namely...
Personally I listen to tons of indie music.. Is it because it's "cool"? No, it's because I think some of it is amazing music. Stuff like Sufjan Stevens (is he indie?), Arcade Fire, Passion Pit, New Pornographers, are all great music in my opinion. You may very well completely disagree and that...
Well, given his easy major, it's either
1) He's not that smart
2) He is pretty smart, he's just incredibly lazy with regards to school
2a) He's lazy with regards to school because he knows he can be.
Just thought I'd add:
All those who state that the course schedule of athletes at universities like UF, OSU, etc, are complete jokes, are completely correct. Tebow, without doubt, falls under this category. His 3.66 or whatever is a complete, utter joke compared to many students at UF who are...
One thing that concerned me was his kickoffs. It was great having Pettrey kicking it into the endzone all the time, and we missed that with Barclay. I wonder if Ben could take over there? Do punts and kickoffs, and Barclay do FG's?
Snatch..
Such a great movie.
(I don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it, so no details) At the end of the movie--literally right before what I would call the climax--our DVD stopped working. It was scratched, I guess, and it stopped playing right at the worst possible opportunity...
