Call me crazy, but when Patrick, Theisman and the crazy ol' punter were doing Sunday Night Football, I thought they were the best team doing pro games.
Patrick is definitely getting senile, though, and hopefully this will be his last year. I can't imagine his performance is good enough for any...
I would lean toward '11 as a better bet.
Next year, Iowa and Wisky are the next two best teams in the conference.
They return pretty much their whole starting teams.
We play them both at their place.
I think the DL takes a big hit with regard to depth, even if heyward and Gibson stay...
Man, this guy is messed up.
First, we discover that he has two butts, one in back and one in front.
Now we discover that his tear ducts ar in his nose!
Next you'll try to tell me something crazy - like he sh**s out his mouth.
Hey, give him some credit.
At least he didn't say "humblefied" or "humblated" or "humblecated".
Being in AA for a couple of years has really allowed him to sophisticasize hisself.
Agreed
He was very disruptive today. Very quick and mobile.
He might even be able to help out at strong side DE next year - especially if lil' ironhead goes pro.
Against RR's scUM teams, I'm not sure if past Buckeyes would allow that to count.
It seems to me like TP is on the opposite end of the "Michigan-killer" spectrum than Troy Smith was.
Sure, TP made soem very good runs and moved the chains several times by his running, but the passing and all...
I'm sure Chris will be the first to admit (and maybe already has) that he was by far the second-toughest Spielman in his family.
Very tragic, sad, and also inevitable news to hear of Stephanie's passing.
Her ordeal is finally over, and we can all learn many positives from her and Chris, and...
WE (almost) all want a blowout, but The Game is always close up there even in years like this where we are decidedly better.
scUM will move the ball, especially early.
I think once we are up by more than 14, which may not happen until the early 4th Qtr, they will finally give up somewhat but...
It's the little-known "one year of eligibility for each star rating" rule.
The first half of this year, Rose was virtually indistinguishable from Heyward in regards to their effectiveness and dominance.
AS the doctor said when Charlie Weis was born........."This one could get ugly".
I don't see how Iowa would stay ranked high enough for an at-large BCS bid, especially if the score of Sat's game is lopsided like it very well could be.
Good point.
The very few teams that they have played that had a decent running game have moved the ball on them and kept their defense on the field.
Any team that plays them, though, is going to have to slow down their offense. I don't think you'll see them losing a game the way OR lost to...
I missed this game. 10 - 3?
Isn't this the Big 12?
What did they do, stop the game after 10 minutes? Everybody (at ESPN) knows this isn't real football. (unless it's the SEC)
Does their win against Delaware St count? I thought they were 1AA, but maybe not.
It doesn't really matter, becasue as you say they are going to get their a**es handed to them the last two games.
I'm sure that decision was under official review, and even though there is blatantly obvious evidence to overturn it, it is upheld.
Hey, at least they didn't gain in the polls for their "near victory".
