To me it seems like a lot of changes occur right after the season with coaches being let go as early as possible so the program can hire a new coach that will provide some recruiting stability. Based on that timeframe, if say ND cans Jabba the Hut, it will be sooner (easrly January) rather than...
Considering all of UM's Ohio recruits are basically Plan C guys for OSU...maybe in 3 years they will be up to Plan B guys and then the series will be competitive again.
This kid is starting to really put together a nice offer list from schools that know defensive line talent such as LSU (interest) and PSU (offer). Will be interesting to see how our interest goes once we see him in person.
No problem, i actually agree with your point about the star system. I just get tired of hearing D'Andrea's name in reference to busts. He worked his butt off but just could not get healthy and back onto the field.
GO BUCKS!!
D'Andrea was really starting to play well his sophmore year before blowing up his shoulder and then his knee, iirc...regardless he did not pan out but not for lack of talent imo
Hopefully he also mentioned that we were up 34-6 at one point in the game...this will come down to whether Hageman would rather win or catch a couple balls IMO.
Currently we have 3 RB commits...
Jordan Hall - It is very conceivable that Jordan ends up on the defensive side of the ball. Even if he does play offense, i dont really see him as an every down type of guy. Think of the type of role that Brandon Saine has been used
Jaamal Berry and Carlos...
If it really is a case of Watt or Hall, then i would much rather see Watt go to ND and Hall to OSU. I do not want to see the Glenville to Illinois connection gain anymore momentum...i realize you want to keep the talent in the conference, but maybe in this case it will start to be at the expense...
Agreed
It was my understanding that the same can be said about Vlad and him being very physical but maybe limited in coverage, but they have Vlad as having some of the best coverage skills...definitely a quantity over quality series IMO
He had some extremely good things to say about JT. It will be interesting to see if Watt doesnt come on board, if Martinez or an Ohio OL get that last OL offer...It sounds like we have a terrific shot at Martinez
Oversigning has a negative stigma associated to it for one reason only, the SEC. I see nothing wrong with oversigning @ OSU because our kids are going to actually make it through admissions (knock on wood). Whereas the SEC schools oversign because they absolutely know that they are going to lose...
