1) It's Preaseason.
2)Who cares if they threw on 3rd and 1.. It's the preseason.
3)The Cardinals never gameplan or show an ounce of creativity in preseason.
4)No Whisenhunt shouldn't fire himself. He's proven to be an excellent offensive mind. It's preseason.
5)Beanie will get more playing time...
Rushel Shell vs West Allegheny
Those clips above don't do this kid justice. The video above really showcases his running ability against a good team from last season.
Rivals just recently posted video. What a tremendous athlete. Not much action of him having to navigate through traffic, but this kid is extremely explosive and runs sideline to sideline better than any LB we've offered in this class IMO.
I think Rivals did a very good job with Ohio in this early list.
My only argument would be that Depriest should be about 20 spots higher.
Overall I think they did a good job though.
Scout has too many five star players IMO, I like that Rivals limits their five star selections.
Bottomline...
The message isn't to Beanie. Hightower is probably the hardest worker on the team. By keeping him installed as starter I guess it promotes hard work amongst the other guys.
Beanie will get more carries this year. I wouldn't worry about who the "starter" is.
This is recruiting. Things can change day to day. Vaughters could take a family trip to Ohio and have a great time for a weekend just hanging out with his family, and decide he really wants to play near them. He could stumble across a rerun of the Rose Bowl, and just get the itch to play in...
A lot of Georgia fans feel Ohio State and Stanford will be his final two.
Just going by what the kid says and the type of family he comes from I dont see him going to Georgia, Georgia Tech, USC, North Carolina, or Alabama. That pretty much leaves us, UF, and Stanford.
Based on what he's...
So would I.
His potential on the Dline is tremendous, I just don't know if you can state he's the best DT recruit we've recruited in 10 years, when he's barely played the position.
I think Koyack is the special talent. Not that I wouldn't be pleased with a Heuerman and Vannett TE class, but Koyack plus one of the other two would really be ideal.
I just hope we keep working hard on Koyack and don't just sit back and say "eh, whichever two want to commit first we'll take"...
How stupid is Charles Davis? This is a guy who covers the B10 conference, and he's yapping about how Gibson was only a one year starter and situational player vs Texas in 2008.
Thad has started for two seasons now and seen playing time in three.
Has anyone seen him play live? I'm a bit surprised about this offer given the uncertainty regarding his future weight/position and his current measurables.
