I am originally from his neck of the woods, and I happen to know some coaches that coach in the same league. They are saying that Saine is the real deal. They also told me that he is a football player that runs track, not the other way around (like it is perceived).

Lol. Now we know why the recruiting rankings are so different from site to site. I guess it is nice to know that we hve some GREAT options heading down the stretch.
EDIT: Geez how could we both look over Greg Mathews when doing these posts. He has got to be up there towards the top of our...
The only players on that list I would even consider taking over Robinson, would be Gibson and Small. It would be nice to not have to worry about RB recruiting next year, and Robinson must be pretty high on the list to even risk alienating the guys they were already recruiting for next year, jmo.
Welcome to the family Walter!
Man he looks really impressive in his highlight reel. I am as stoked about this kid as any other that we have landed (sans beanie of course :)).

Spiller is a great talent, but as far as running backs go, Kylan is the best in Florida, jmo. He had very impressive film on Sunshinepreps. I never knew runningbacks that weighed 220 pounds had moves like that.

Says OSU was in contact just prior to the dead period along with Penn State and Iowa. Could this be yet another sleeper?
I watched a few St. Eds games this year, and besides Oliver, Edmunds and Kyle Hubbard there were a few linebackers that really stood out. They were a tough hard nosed group that pursued the ball very well.
Per the Scout article he already has a Miami offer. I am sure Miami wanted to stay hot with him, while they sort things out with their other running back targets.
Seriously, if they dont bring in Dan Hawkins and his O co-or, with a great D co-or, then they are clueless. That is the perfect fit. Look at what he did with Boise. The fans there are crazy about that program now. Maybe Hawkins does not want the job?
I hate to be pessimistic, but I get a horrible feeling on this one, for some reason. He visited PSU un-officially for the "white out". We may not have been as awed because we were concentrating on the game, but it would have been an unreal experience. He visited that game with JB Walton. He then...
Lichtenfels always seems pretty solid to me. If I remember correctly Lichtenfels is a big Pitt fan. If I were Thomas it would be hard for me to tell someone who is a big Pitt fan that I would prefer to play at OSU.
The sticking point to this recruitment is--- Why opt to take a visit to tOSU, and continue to have constant dialogue with the staff if you are 100% committed to Pitt? I have followed recruting for years, and these types of recruitments usually end with a late switch, at least it seems that way...
I noticed Grant was playing in Max Emfinger's All American game, but when I looked at the roster today he was no longer listed, I wonder if it has anything to do with his shoulder injury?
