Especially with Purdue right after.
If Army doesn't get too predictable with the option, and if they settle on a starter- Wisconsin could be in some trouble. They had SIX different starting quarterbacks (Christian Anderson, Jemel Jones, Tyhier Tyler, Cade Ballard, Maurice Bellan, and Tyson...
Make it either 6 or 8.
With a 6 team field- take the P5 conference champions and the highest ranked G5 champion, which would make WINNING YOUR CONFERENCE a top priority (leaving the Domers out).
With 8- take the P5 conference champions, highest ranked G5 champion, then the two highest ranked...
I think the trade to Carolina will do wonders for Darnold and his development. Following New York sports like I do, I think that Darnold was set up to fail. As dysfunctional as the Jets' front office, you can't help but think otherwise
There is no consistency in the way the NCAA penalizes schools for things. You would have gotten away with the jewelry for tattoos in Ohio State was in the $EC. That entire conference gets carte blanche with everything
Has avoided any postseason ban https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/31263182/usc-given-probation-fined-assistant-coach-violations-avoids-postseason-ban
I never see anyone rail on Penn State for their non conference schedules, the $EC for scheduling some of the cream puffs they do, or Notre Dame for not even joining one.
Another laugh at Penn State, their non conference games are a joke for the most part. I'm not sure what Auburn has, and West Virginia is okay.
2021- Ball State, Auburn, Villanova
2022- Ohio Univ, @ Auburn, Central Michigan
2023- West Virginia, Delaware, UMass
2024- @ West Virginia, Bowling...
Any discussions with any of the service academies about any future games? I know Army came out there in 2016, and Navy a few years before that. I know Army & Oklahoma are trying to reschedule Oklahoma's trip to West Point that got postponed from 2020. Being that Army's the only independent, it...
This is very true in the Philadelphia area, and I believe it's true in the Pittsburgh area as well. Both are more NFL and NHL cities- the only time that Philadelphia fans will show up for anything affiliated with college sports are the Big 5, or a high profile opponent coming to play Temple...
Since this does not fall under rule 9.01 (c)- Each umpire has authority to rule on any point not specifically covered in these rules or 9.02 (a and b)
Any umpire's decision which involves judgment, such as, but not limited to, whether a batted ball is fair or foul, whether a pitch is a strike or...
These are interesting reads.
As a Seton Hall alum- I did see that there's a possibility of playing you guys in a preseason MTE.
As for what to expect from Seton Hall- they should be better than they were in 2020-21.
Key losses- Bryce Aiken, Sandro Mamukelashvili, and Shavar Reynolds...
