I voted coaching/scheme because many of the plays that have hurt the Buckeyes have not been about players being beat physically at the point of attack. Defenders aren't even in same zip code as receivers more often than not. That screams coaching to me.
I say this but the Safeties are clearly...
Last year for a few weeks towards the end of the year, I did bowl projections in the bowl projections thread. I haven’t done that this year because I don’t have enough time. Because people have been arguing about it with some faulty reasoning behind it I find it in my heart to do this again...
Brian at Mgoblog seems depressivly resigned. He knows they suck, but knows the coaching will not be fixed in the near future. I almost feel sorry for him. Almost.
Might be a hair better in the PCs for OSU to beat scUM or NW twice if the only loss was to OSU, but I think a win over a team that OSU hasn't played already will play better with the voters. Then again the media is will spin whomever OSU plays into a negative.
Rooting interest for Buckeye fans is Indiana, Northwestern, scUM, and Nebraska right?
Sparty/Hoosiers - Hoosiers because OSU plays them... although if Sparty were to win the "other" Division by winning out that probably wouldn't be a bad SOS thing for the Buckeyes in the conference...
I think it's Marshall. To talented to let Fields and Hall keep him of the field at the pivot. Wilson could be nice on kick returns. Defense even with less starters returning actually seems harder to crash. Bosa could give Washington some rest. Bell could be the Star, but I'm actually betting on...
Bell has been saying best relationship, not longest. I have no inside info whatsoever. It is possible that he and the Tennessee staff hit it off in ways that he and the OSU staff haven't even in a shorter time frame.
I know you are painting with a broad brush, and I tend to think you are more correct for recruiting info, but there are legitimate things on SB nation. Rob Neyer in baseball for instance.
So I did a much better job of picking winners last week keeping a lot of these projections the same.
Once again:
Selection Process here. Selection Order after BCS Championship participants are replaced: Fiesta, Sugar, Orange
