Dusty had it right all the way. Why did I ever doubt him? That, BTW, was a heck of a play by Mesoraco. He stood in there and delivered a strike to Votto, while getting his back leg taken out by the runner.
Why he doesn't bunt at least once every 2-3 games is beyond me. I realize that detractors say bunting him is a waste of his power and takes away the element of surprise; however, at this point, what does he have to lose? He hasn't hit a ball further than 250 feet this year and the only element...
Arroyo is going to have a long year. It seems like he is getting by on smoke and mirrors, which is largely the case after giving up 10 hits in 6.1 IP. If Arroyo gives us 6 good IP, then it's time to get him out of the game because sooner or later the opposing team is going to get to him. Good...
No, especially considering it was the U-23 team that lost. What is everybody's opinion of Terrance Boyd? He looked very dangerous last night, scoring two very good goals.
Tremendously bad break(or tear I guess) for the Reds. Now the Reds have to figure out who their closer is with less than two weeks left until opening day and if they want to change course with Chapman.
Personally, I like Marhsall as the new closer, while keeping Chapman as a starter. If...
Presumably because OSU are also recruiting him. No need to attack the guy for posting information about a recruit whom both schools have offered; although it would be nice to have a source.
I can't wait to get out of Big Ten play, just so we don't have to deal with the officials anymore. The no call on Craft at the end, the charges that weren't and, not to mention, Craft was getting stiff armed by Burke the entirety of the last possession.
With that said, the refs were not the...
I really have no idea whether the rumor is true, and if it is true what the reasoning is; however, I am sure that Marcus would have been allowed to sign no matter what. Urban raved about Marcus in every interview he did today calling his film one of the best he saw the entire year.
The simple fact that he is visiting OU, at this point in his recruitment, seems to indicate that the admission standards at OSU are higher. The general undergraduate admissions standards at OSU are higher than OU's, so that probably is a good indication. I graduated from OU and just speaking out...
Bleacher Report tried to warn us. Scroll down about half way and see if you recognize the referee...

It's just ridiculous the way the Bengals played defense not only on the final drive, but throughout the entire game. The middle was left wide open throughout the game; no adjustments were made and it ended up costing us on the final play.
We now need the Jets to really falter and the Ravens...
Even with the loss I am happy with the game we played. Missing the Probable Nat'l Player of the Year, on the road, and not exactly playing our sharpest game, we were in the game until the end. If a few more balls bounced our way and a few more calls went our way, we may well have pulled the game...
All things considered we are in pretty good position going into the 2nd half. Kansas is shooting the lights out and we're only down six. If our D picks up and Kansas' shooting returns back to earth we stand a good shot in the 2nd half. We need to get Buford's shot going though.
