I can't see how the staff takes both. That being said, I don't think the offer has to do with Cager cooling on the Buckeyes, but rather, Coombs and Zach Smith watching him play on Friday and coming away convinced that he deserves an offer.
Corey went from being an afterthought on a teaming coming off it's worst season in recent memory, to a leader on a pair of two very good buckeye teams, and now is starting as a rookie in the NFL. Impressive turnaround for this young man.
I believe he didn't get a ton of PT last year because he was behind a few seniors on the depth chart, but he should really have breakout year this year for an excellent high school football program.

He may not be as highly touted as the other two recent offers, but I love this kids film. He can move well, and throws a nice looking ball. I really like this kid and would be happy if he ended up being our QB. I actually like his film better than Barkers.
