While I agree with you analysis there is a small point of fact here. OSU's running back slept with the girlfriend, made a tape and sent it to the opposing linebacker. My recollection of historical trends is a little different...
Can I segway back in by saying the Mercer Model has a 71% accuracy rate. Of 250 recruits from 2009 Michigan had the most kids commit to them that didn't "match" (6). Florida had the most kids not commit to them who did "match"(12). Based on that I would say RR is recuiting the socks off of that...

Staduim size, age and location were determined to be important in the Mercer University predictive model. I think those things are directly linked to game day atmosphere but only slightly related to this thread.
Props to goblue15 for giving the most accurate and succinct pregame prediction of the year.

I guess that explains scUM in the second half. I can imagine the LB's now... "But the coach said I didn't have to bother showing up"

Apparently this guy, Rodriguez, when crazy after being fired for poor job performance and just started shooting people. I wonder if scUM needs to start investing in some security devices. Probably not, since it would be a defensive matter that requires planning.
Agreed but with a caviat- I think there the OSU player (Torrence?) didn't realize that this year you can hit the punter who is doing a rugby kick. I think the angle was chosen to be conservative and avoid contact.
+1 on that. Hurt QB's made Stash look like a good coach. I wonder how Tressel would look? I was reading on the O-zone that his decorum is different on Michigan week and not suitable to print. I don't think Tressel will get tired of beating those guys.
Cooper-
always fielded a good team that broke my heart in November.
Drod -
Hefields a crappy team that nobody expects to win The Game. It's like taking a lame dog out to be shot. Except it's the dog that pissed on the carpet, took a crap on your bed, bit your daughter in her sleep and would...
So you list six players that you wish were ours. Fair enough. My return question is how many players are we redshirting this year would play A/O start at scuM
I think Whiting, Bell, Woods, Brown, Clarke, Bellamy would definately play on D as a position of need. RR would have to curb himself...
Going through a fun site - http://www.teamrankings.com/college-football/stat/
OSU points/play = 28th (just behind USC). This is kind of a funny stat. There wasn't much separation between teams and it didn't pull out the "elite" teams IMHO. FWIW Toledo was 17 even after being shut out by...
Being a die-hard capitalist I suggest we (re:you) look at NFL earnings/position to see the "value" of players produced. (then we can take MC off the list again)
