Thanks, strohs. I figured it had to be the wing offense at Watterson.....The eagles have been running wing variations for decades, even back when I was at Watterson in the late '60s....Not the kind of offense for a throwing qb like Brady Quinn. Go Bucks! Go Eagles!

Sorry to disagree, jimotis4heisman....Watterson's academic program is exceptional. Sure hope you really are a Jim Otis fan, though. I know Jim and his wife, Jan, and am fortunate to have taught both of his sons at Christian Brothers College High School in St. Louis. Go Bucks!
"...it always worries me when a Cincy kid from a Catholic school (I forget LaSalles exact affiliation...not sure it lines up with ND. Both Brothers of the something or other). Not sure if he is Catholic, but I know many of the people in those schools really push kids to Catholic Universities...

Just wondering if anyone in the Dublin area knows why Brady Quinn went to Coffman rather than Watterson. I'm assuming that Brady's family is Irish "green" rather than Ulster "orange." Did it have anything to do with the kind of wing offense Watterson traditionally...
