    Wisconsin 31, Minn 28 (Final)

Are you a Minnesota fan, because it doesn't seem like that would be the case from your user-name. You looked at everything from their perspective. If anybody beat themselves, it was Wisconsin. They have shown the tendency to self destruct down the stretch in every game this season. Minnesota...

    Wisconsin 31, Minn 28 (Final)

Chris Borland from Kettering Ohio is fucking unreal! He got 5 straight QB pressures, with a couple of sacks (I think), and the clinching fumble recovery. Thank God because I would have had a heart attack otherwise.

    Wisconsin 31, Minn 28 (Final)

I'm just really speechless other than to recap what just happened. 80 yards in 40 seconds against a so called prevent defense. Wisconsin had a takeaway to end the game, but it's negated by a penalty. Of course it can't be this easy.
  4. Bernini

    Wisconsin 31, Minn 28 (Final)

Wisconsin is a really high caliber ballclub, who has self destructive tendencies. It's unbelievable how we've dominated everybody when we didn't have the flu, yet the opponent is in the ballgame to the end.

Win or Lose: It's Wisconsin's Doing

Letting, or is John Clay making them look stupid? The fact is the latter occurred. He's dominated every drive he's been afforded the football.
  6. Bernini

    Wisconsin 31, Minn 28 (Final)

Give John Clay the damn ball already. On both drives Wisconsin has relied upon him, they've scored TD's. He may be a little fat, but he's still a big time running back.

    Dexter

I just found out about it about a week ago and zoomed through the first 3 seasons via free on demand, fanpop, megavideo, and videostic. It's extremely addicting and right up my alley as a police officer and burgeoning detective with a background in serial killer psychology. I think it's pretty...

What song are you listening to right now

This guy does breathtaking piano/vocal covers of Maynard James Keenan led bands, and APC-Orestes is my favorite. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d_EqpXC741A Also has several originals, so he has his own voice. Kind of cool story. From his youtube vides he was noticed by Billy Howerdel...

    Wisconsin 31, Minn 28 (Final)

Badgers returned a fumble earlier for a TD, but it was called back for the whistle having blown. Review proved that it was a fumble. That mistake should never occur, yet it's been the 2nd time it did against Wisconsin this season. Bill Carollo needs to do a better job of directing his officials.

Sparty 30 at Wiscy 38 (final)

Ignore the final score. Same thing against NIU. Wisconsin kicked the crap out of them both but took their foot off the pedal to take away style points. It was 38-17 late in the 4th quarter, in field goal range, with a chance to make it 41-17. Instead of making it 4 scores, he goes for it to...

    Washington 16, USC 13 (final)

Fun with the transitive property: OSU << Washington :D :wink2: (why does this board censor greater than signs?) edit: for some reason greater than signs are, but less than signs aren't. Because it's clearly more hurtful for someone to say someone is better than you than you worse than them.

Mich St 30 at Notre Ame 33 (final)

Michigan State's quarterback is the goat of the week in college football. He chokes on a gimme TD to a wide open receiver and then inexplicably makes a desperate throw across his body when it's only 2nd down and his team is already in position to tie the ballgame. He was out of the pocket -...

    Wisconsin 34 Fresno State 31 2OT (final)

I may have been a little reckless in stating these were confirmed cases of Swine Flu. They were confirmed cases of Flu, many of which are presumed to be Swine Flu. Through Sept. 5, 198 students were evaluated for flu-like symptoms at the University of Wisconsin Health Services. Of the cases...

    Wisconsin 34 Fresno State 31 2OT (final)

Wanna bet? You can play, you're just going to suck. It was confirmed that J.J. Watt had Swine Flu and he played. Gabe Carimi too. UW's top CB Aaron Henry contracted it last night and tried to play through, but as a result couldn't play jam coverage as he's accustomed due to lack of strength...

    Wisconsin 34 Fresno State 31 2OT (final)

Pretty good win considering half of Wisconsin's players reportedly contracted the Swine Flu. And you could tell based on some of their individual performances. But the players from in state and the seniors wouldn't allow the team to lose in the end. Bielema can still fellate me though because...

USA -0.5 at Trinidad &Tobago (WC Qual, Sep. 9th 7 ET, ESPN Classic)

Big break last night for the U.S. when Costa Rica lost to El Salvador. Now the Nats only need a tie against the Costa Ricans in the finale to qualify for South Africa. But they could make things easy on themselves with a win over Honduras. It's going to be tough though because I caught a...

Wow, great first touch and shot by Clark! He's out of my dog house, at least temporarily. Now let's not go all bunker again like against Mexico or the Netherlands in the last Olympics. This is T&T for God's sake. I still like the subs of Holden and Feilhaber.

USA -0.5 at Trinidad &Tobago (WC Qual, Sep. 9th 7 ET, ESPN Classic)

I agree that Spector has been MOTM the match for Team USA so far. He's stood up numerous challenges from T&T, got between the ball and goal on the multiple moves from Edwards (I believe it was), and he's the one guy at the back who has actually had an idea about how to keep possession...

USA -0.5 at Trinidad &Tobago (WC Qual, Sep. 9th 7 ET, ESPN Classic)

That's how I'd play it for now. U.S. has been very passive at the back so far....backing off dribblers and allowing them free crosses and shots on goal. So we're pretty much at the mercy of their ball skills, or thankfully lack thereof so far. But I think we're good enough to try and...

USA -0.5 at Trinidad &Tobago (WC Qual, Sep. 9th 7 ET, ESPN Classic)

Clark and Bornstein  I'm also sure, especially with that lineup, that he'll pack it in and play dump and chase with about 9 guys back, many of whom don't have ball skills, and then only 2 up front to serve the ball to. I really hope it is not going to take missing out on the World...
