I saw a few peroids on the way home from the game ans asked them what they thought about TP joining their ranks in the future. They didn't respond but rather tried to devour me with the use of their super sharp peroid teeth and peroid talons, then they flew away into the night crying towards the...
OSU just wasn't bringing the pressure and it wasn't a question of their D Line not getting a push. They were often coming with 2-3 guys on third down which you just can't do against a QB who can actually find the open man. Freeman and Laurainitis were also underused, in my opinion. Those guys...
Pryor just needs time. The guy has all the skills in the world but you can't expect a freshman to come in, learn how to read defenses and throw crisp passes in his first three or four games. I see his progression alot like V Young's, i.e. great as a sophomore and phenomenal as a junior.
The Bucks need a D Line that can get to the quarterback and they need more aggressive play calling. There really was no reason for the Bucks to be rushing three guys on third and 12 TD pass from Sanchez to Williams.
As a SC fan, here's my two cents.
Whenever TP came into the game in the first quarter, I got scared. Why? Because he was throwing the SC D way off balance and was pretty much picking up a first down every time he touched the ball. That said, however, one of the reasons SC was having difficulty...
With a return date next year I'm happy that no serious bitterness has built up amongst the two teams. OSU and USC have a long tradition against each other and I think both fan bases have to respect that and do.
This will be controversial, but I think that in this day and age where winning big trumps just plain winning in CFB, you should try to score against good teams when you have them on the ropes. I don't think you should run up the score against bad teams that you were supposed to beat anyways or...
Tough loss for the Buckeyes. Seems like they just werent able to put it back together mentally after SC's first score. Here's hoping you guys do well in the Big Ten the rest of the way out.
That's called an opinion, and you're entitled to one. What I asked was that everyone try to keep their opinions as unbiased as possible and reserve judgment until the incident is sorted out.
I don't expect Buckeye fans to worship at the alter of Carroll but I do expect them to exercise some...
That's just patently unfair. Do you know Carroll? Do you know anything damning about the SC program other than the fact that Bush and his family took a bunch of cash? I don't either so I wait until official bodies like the NCAA come out and say something is amiss before I judge Carroll and the...
I'll be happy if USC wins the game as long as the win is marred by the revelation that Wright was absolutely guilty and Carroll was just tying to keep him around for the OSU game at all costs. I get the feeling this isn't the case because if Wright was truly as guilty as everyone thinks, he...
I realize that. But let's just say that if Rich Rodriguez came out and said one of their players wasn't going to suit up, I'd take it with a grain of salt. When Jim Tressel says it, I believe him.
It was actually up to 86% on Sports Illustrated which, frankly, just boggles my mind. I love SC and they are great, but that's just stupid. There is no way only 14% of Americans should believe Ohio State will win this game.
