It seems like they have been bit by the injury bug early this year, but it could be a lot worse from the sound of things. Mostly just dings and scratches.
I have deleted a couple of comments that I made yesterday after reading this quote from Coach Tressel:
I don't know that the sort of general information that I passed along is such a big deal. However, I think it might be a good idea for all of us to strongly curtail the posting of...
The more I think about things, read about other teams, and hear things from practice, the better this Buckeye team sounds. I now believe that Ohio State has a better shot than anybody else to win a MNC this year. The talent, depth, health <knocking on wood>, experience and coaching have never...
I would say they would be competing at the top of the conference for a title. So, yes, I think the Buckeyes are good enough to win the SEC. However, I think they have a much lower chance of winning the SEC than they do the B10. It is a more competitive league to be sure (although not to the...
Or making lots of tackles for that matter. Generally speaking, I would think that if the corners are getting lots of tackles, that would be a bad thing, not a good thing.
While that is not exactly a smoking gun, it is certainly a specter that nobody wants anywhere near their program. And I for one applaud the Michigan State Police on their fine work in apprehending this fellow and bringing that specter into the vicinity of the scUM football program.
I would have to reserve judgment on that until after I see them in action more. But if I had to bet right now, I would agree with you and bet on TP being next year's starter. I am assuming that TP will have at least developed enough passing skills by then so that there is at least a decent...
If that means that TB lead Ohio State to a MNC and all the action Pryor really saw was mop-up duty, then you will hear no complaints from me. Heck, you will not hear complaints from me regardless. I trust that the coaches know what they are doing.
That's not really funny :roll1:
However, the BP Mob should look into this "Drue Down" fellow.

Well I got a chuckle out of it. It was actually quite well done. Most of the other crap that makes fun of Ohio State is weak.

But then again, when I think of how good our o-line should play this year and with Beanie in the backfield (not to mention the Brians), that would give a young QB a lot of room for error.
I just hope that TB plays so well that TP is barely even needed or noticed.
Basically what I was trying to say is that if TP were were forced to play anything more than as a situational type of guy (ala Tebow in 2006) whatever the reason, I would be surprised if he was a stud right off the bat. I have no doubt that he has the potential and probably will be a hell of a...
