When I watched him, I saw a ton of athleticism and arm strength, not the best accuracy however.
I could see him going Jalin Marshall like and be recruited as athlete. He could go somewhere as QB, just think that he'd be better to be recruited as an athlete.
It's just a personal preference really. I hope both come to Columbus and be great. I just think that Smith will be better. I'm not 100% stating it or hoping he is, I just like his running style and power. I just have that gut feeling.
I agree, he's probably a 4.6-4.65, wish he was a 4.45-4.5.
And to buckeye86, I don't think Green will be bad, just think Smith will be better. Hope we ge both.
Watched him friday night. Looked pretty good. Fast for his size.. bigger than I thought. He has room to pack on some weight too. He just seems like a OSU LB.
This kid played great tonight. Has anyone heard anything else about him? He's a big kid. He could be a big safety, but he has room to grow into a LB.. good speed too, he's very intruiging..
After watching Green and DeVeon Smith, I'm telling you guys that Smith is the better player. I really hope that Green goes elsewhere and that we snag Smith. I really don't think we would regret it.
I was at the game and wow.. This dude is a stud on defense. He laid some very nasty hits. He's very quick, so I'm not sure why they wouldn't use him that much on offense. Can't wait for him in a couple of years to be a huge impact player.
Najee is going to be special at tOSU. I'm very excited to watch him grow into a player. He is exactly the type of recruits we always get: Underrated, low-star Ohio recruits who we turn into All Big 10 players and future draft picks. I get to watch Najee today as they take on Youngstown Cardinal...
Went to the Kent-Howland game today, and all I can say is wow. This kid is an absolute beast. I'd say he's about 6'0" 205, with some pretty good speed. He breaks so many tackles it's sick. He almost never goes down on first contact. I mean this kid is a stud.
Tonight he had 26 carries for 242...
Well, my names Mark. I've lived in Akron my whole life, and always and forever will be a Buckeyes fan! My best memories have been OSU games, and my brother, father and I always watch the big games together. I'm a freshman in college, and my favorite OSU players are Antonio Pittman, Ted Ginn Jr...
Him, Derjuan Gambrell, Doran Grant and Christian Bryant give us a very bright future at DB's. Plus they could also try Adam Griffin and the other Corey Brown.
If he stays at Tennessee (Which I think he does), then they took 3 very good prospects from Ohio in Smith, LaTroy Lewis, and Alden Hill.. Good for them!
I've been hearing rumors that McMullen's mom wants him to keep looking because Nebraska is too far away and wants him closer to home.. If we get him and Washington, I'll be very happy!
