Most likely the muscles around the shoulder weren't as strong as expected. If he was putting some heat on the pass it could be injured similarly to how a pitcher would injure his. Even if no extra damage was done, it will probably be three weeks before he is ready to go.
I remember stating in a thread that OSU needs to get some good leads early in the season so the backup QB could get in and get reps. I wasn't quite envisioning this!! :yow1:

Of course the big question mark is the line. Who will end up being the starters and how quickly will they gel together. If they develop into a solid unit, the offense has the weapons to put up rediculous numbers, I can't think of a time in my life where Ohio State has had this number of highly...
All I have to say is Josh was probably one of the least heralded players in his class and with all the heralded LBs in the class, look who ends up getting the starting nod.. Let's hope he shows up as a beast on the field this year.
