Consider registering! Fewer and higher quality ads, no emails you don't want, access to all the forums, download game torrents, private messages, polls, Sportsbook, etc. Even if you just want to lurk, there are a lot of good reasons to register!
Honestly, I could not tell you. I don't recall ever seeing the ad banners when I am at work (as I was when that shot was taken). I do recall seeing them on my home computer though.
@Deety I have this same problem using Opera.. when videos or sidebar ads are on a webpage, sometimes the Flash Player crashes and "hangs up" the rest of the page from loading and freezes the browser. Will cleaning the Flash Player Cache help with this problem?
Unless you can provide proof that the Gameday crew being in town actually provides any boost to the economy, your assertion is empty. Like Buckeye Maniac said, the number of people drawn simply for Gameday is minimal compared to the 100,000+ fans who are already there for the game regardless..
I don't like how the weather does not show up in the Notification Center now, at least I haven't been able to get it to. Other than that, like you guys have said, it will take a little getting used to. Love having the control center now, though.
@gregorylee Deety found a fix for this if you are using IE. Click on your username in the upper right hand corner and go to Preferences. Uncheck the box marked "Use Rich Text Editor" or something like that.
FYI, If you go to "Compatibility View Settings" (under Page tab), you have to add this site to list. After I did that, it started working in compatibility View for me. Hope this helps!
But @Deety already found a fix that works too!
I belive that does it! It is now going to the first unread message and not the bottom of the page, without using Compatibility View. Thanks @Deety you're awesome!
