Keep in mind I said to be an elite team we need to convert those situation into tds...
Lets look at 7 drives...
IL 24 - 3rd - 2...pryor for -9 yds - FG
IL 28 - 3rd - 5...Pryor for -1 yd - FG
Ohst 40 - 3rd - 3...Herron for 2 yds - PUNT
IL 10 - 3rd-4 Pryor incomplete pass - FG
IL 36 - 3rd - 2...
I disagree with this. We won 30-0.
There were 3 times where we were down in their end when we converted field goals instead of tds. We got stopped on short yardage situations.
There was also the time when we were on the Illinois 36 and we punted.
We scored 3 tds. That would add 4...
I liked the things I saw yesterday.
Now we have the formation, have the running game going, using our QB some to run off the option read, because he is a great athlete.
Now we just need to get the passing game going and be balanced.
I love it anytime we rush for over 200, but I would...
I agree, he looked great out there. Was in position, he got bogged down inside on one option play I remember seeing, but he filled in very nicely.
Gonna be a very good one.
I will comment on this, but if he isn't going to get chances to make plays with his arm, he is never going to get better. I know the conditions and what not yesterday, but screens plays, short passes, are ways to get Pryor some confidence.
Some things noticed. He is waiting way to long to...
I thought he looked very good the other night...Don't think he has the burst to rush off the edge, but once he get into a colllege weightroom and fills his already big body out, he will be very good inside player here...
Gonna piggyback off of this. BUt I can't agree more. This past year landed us the # 1 class in the country. 2010, was thought of as a filler class, but if we can land guys like Hicks, Henderson, Joyner, even 2 of them, it will be more than filler thats for sure and even if not it is a top 10...

I have a real hard time with this discussion.
1. Many point to the ranking of our low offense. This doesn't bother me, we run less plays, than other teams, we run and pass in balance, we run lots of playclock. So this argument holds no weight in my book.
2. Tress doesn't adapt to...
Here is an indepth look at the 2011 class. Things are looking very good for this class at the early stage. Big time talent in-state, especially at the DL position, we have a QB in state. I say we go about 15 deep in 4 and 5*'s top 300 national type players. And with guys like Vaughters, Cash...
I say these 6 instate guys see offers tomorrow...Miller, Miller, Depreist, Hayes, Grant, Jordan...
Not really going out on a limb there as 3 of the 6 already have offers.
I would like to see more go out to guys like Rock, Wynn, Sturdivant, Walker, to show that the staff thinks they are for...
My Opinion...
Turner is not a pg. He is our best player, he needs to be the guy with the ball in his hands the most, he needs to be our point forward, playing off the bounce, creating for teammates, much like LBJ in Cleveland...I have said it many times...
The reason Matta would put Turner...
