I came away with the exact opposite takeaway. They were really bad reps helped by even worse QB play.
There was one that seems to be deleted where he was beat by about 7 yards but the QB threw it so late that he recovered to break it up.
If I recall correctly, wasn’t there a video of him in the club when he was a rookie or 2nd year player with the Jets drunk in the club and needed to be restrained by teammates from going after a woman?
Edited for link...
I know he doesn’t have the big name so people write him off, but Hamilton was probably the second best DT last season overall. He probably has the highest floor, but lowest ceiling of all of the potential starters but he’s way more consistent that Tyleik or Hall.
He can coach on the field currently. They changed the title “graduate assistant” to “graduate student coach.” They also added a 3 year max on the time one person can stay in that role.

I would ask if there was any relation to the mayor of a large American city with the same last name, but they have the same hair so I’m just going to assume there is because it’s funnier that way.
The tone of the article is that other schools came in with larger offers in efforts to get him to flip late. Not that OSU isn’t offering competitive NIL deals.
I don’t want to screenshot the actual post because it’s behind their paywall. But he basically said what you said, but added the drama. He doesn’t see the need to visit since he knows he isn’t going there and cause unnecessary drama.
I’m sure The Game will be a great experience for him. But if...
Birm said he didn’t want to cause drama. Which is a little sad if you think about it. Kid can’t go on a once in a lifetime experience because of what fanatics will say to him and stir up drama because he wanted to go see a top 10 matchup.
I mean, in theory I agree with you. But some defenses call for it.
For instance, if the call is cover 2 and JK Johnson is lined up across from a WR and if no other WR comes into his zone, he can carry the WR underneath and the safety plays over top.
But nothing enrages me more than a guy...
It is a Herbie-ism when he leaves out context 99% of the time. If you are in phase with the WR, you can look back for the ball. If you are out of phase, you play through the hands. Both are proven to be effective. Both have their drawbacks. Most coaches teach both ways.
Cam Brown looked back...
I actually think he was the genesis of the whole “don’t offer Ohio kids unless you want to take them” ideology. He got his offer and then basically never heard from OSU again lol.
