For those inclined to panic, Birm says that while Georgia is always a concern, there's not any concern from Ohio State right now. Could change after his OV, but he doesn't think so.
Is anyone's OL recruiting at that level?
Seems like I've read or heard there could be 6 OL in this class? I'm gonna let Frye finish this cycle before I get to fired up about it.
It's kinda like the "best" vs. "most deserving" debate you can get for the playoff rankings. Woody accomplished the most here, but Urban is probably the best coach and if I had to pick a coach to win one game that matters...7-0 is 7-0.
1) Urbs
2) Woody
3) Tress
Both valid concerns. But I have heard good things about them chances with Brandon Baker and I thought that coupled with the short turnaround trips he's made this spring were very positive signs.
Or maybe he was very interested and the quick trips made him rethink how far it is? Who knows. I'm...
I think any additional attrition from the WR would happen after next spring. With the top 4 set to move on, there's a lot of opportunity to earn time next year. As we sit today, it would appear that Ballard and Tate lead for two spots, but a lot can change between now and a year from now.
Me too. Not gonna lie, it crossed my mind even though I've been pretty optimistic about Scott. I never thought Lester would end up here, but I was feeling good about Brown for a while. Either way, West, Scott, Lockhart, and Nichols would be a very good class.
I don't know how much difference it will ultimately make, but Payton Pierce wants to bring him to Columbus.
"As for now, Pierce will focus on his senior football season while putting his recruiting hat on for the Buckeyes with one major target already in mind.
"Nigel Smith," Pierce said."...
3 for 3 transfer portal visitors from last weekend. Gotta like that average. Great addition to the dline. I like what they've done to add depth and address potential weaknesses this off season.
Very bizarre. If I recall, Jack was committed long before he was? And they already had McCord coming in the next year when Ewers reclassified. If anyone should have felt disrespected, it was Miller and McCord.
I'm highly confident the o-line and QB situations will be worked out by the time it matters. No matter what happens in South Bend, if you win games 7, 8, and 12, you're going to Indianapolis to play for a B1G title and playoff berth. That's 29 camp practices, and 8 weeks of in season practice to...
