I was kind of flippant in my post yesterday (see the open discussion board) about the storm, but now I do have a fairly legitimate concern. I live in a brand new development and there's a house under construction across the street. Well, the stucco contractor decided to leave his trailer here...
I apologize if I came off as condescending - kudos to you for standing up for yourself. If I were you, I'd file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau today as well.

AKAK - I'll be sure to do that (I think I've dinged a grand total of four posts) - but my point was directed towards the posters who only give out positive rep, such as yourself. If reputation points are going to be all of the regular posters patting each other on the back, I fail to see its...
I'm sorry, but I disagree. I think if you only give out positive rep, the reputation points have no meaning at all. Judging by the response here, giving out a ding seems to get your attention moreso than disagreeing within the thread. If you disapprove of a post and then give it positive rep...
They even spelled it s-a-c. :tongue2: But seriously, what's with the manager getting all mouthy at you and your wife for trying to return a piece of crap? Ex-Wolve, a piece of advise, if a retail store manager gets so lippy with your wife as to her cry, you have every justification to let...
Living in Tampa, I'm right in the line of fire for Tropical Storm Charlie - it's supposed to get here on Friday. Never fear - I'm all stocked up on liquor in case the beer gets warm when the power goes out...
This is the second thread I've seen you start to complain about getting dinged. Go ahead and ding away for this, but it seems like you care a bit too much about your reputation points...
My vote is for Pete - when you're the lead blocker for the only back-to-back Heisman trophy winner, and you carry the pill (and score) in most goal-line situations, I think that qualifies as the best ever.
Buckwrestler - I'm not trying to call you out, but where did you get this data, and is it appropriate to publish here on this forum? It seems like an invasion of the incoming freshmen's privacy to publish their high school GPA and test scores...
I may be in the minority here, but why do we still bitch about these guys? So Mark May never has anything good to say about OSU - who cares? They may influence the Joe Schmoe fans out there, but I honestly don't think either Mark May or Trev Albert have much influence over the pollsters. So...
I read The Case for Israel by Alan Dershowitz this weekend. It makes a weekend road trip go by much faster when the wifey is driving and I have a book to read. I would highly recommend this book to any and all, highly informative...
It's been a couple years since I was in a fantasy league, it made the NFL a whole lot more interesting for me. Timmay!! is going to clean house in BP2...
D-III expnaded their playoffs to 24 teams not too long ago (top four get a bye the first week.) Playoffs start thanksgiving weekend and are done before the start of winter quarter - and (the horror!) they play on finals week.
I know most people refer to the '98 team as being the most talented buckeye team of the 90's, but I personally think the '96 team was better. What really chaps me about that season is that UF got the MNC that year (and the gator fans down here always talk about that season) after getting to...
I had to say the '97 Rose Bowl simply because it was my first Bowl game trip and it felt so good to actually pull out a victory from the jaws of defeat after so many heartbreaking losses...
