I know Miles is a Michigan man, but wouldn?t hiring Bobby Petrino be a smarter move? Big recruiter, winner at both Louisville and Arkansas, not bat-shit crazy...
Plus he can bring John L. Smith with him to coach the much maligned special teams
So what will happen WHEN Denard gets hurt for a few series? They have been trying to get Devin Gardner a medical redshirt for the season
I assume that given the job uncertainty Rich Rod will have no problems in playing Gardner and burning a possible redshirt if the game is close
1. Ohio State (11-1) will face TCU (12-0) in the National Championship game
- got the records right, but neither made the BCSCG
2. Florida will lose to South Florida in week 2
- It was close until the 4th, but... wrong
3. Stanford will win the Pac 10
- missed by one game
4. Wisconsin follows...
Not sure if it has been mentioned. But someone I know brought up the fact that Jim Tressel has won more conference games in the big house than Rich Rod. That fact alone should get him fired.
Tress: 01, 05, 07, and 09
Rod: Wisc 08, Indiana 09, and Illinois 10
Hilliard Davidson 13
Pick Central 6
Davidson now plays Huber Heights Wayne and Braxton Miller in the state semifianls after Wayne beat St. X 28-24. This will be one of the most interesting games to watch this season.
Oregon- decent team, suspect defense
Auburn- gave up 24 to a D2 school. Give me a break, they are a one trick pony who will be destroyed by Bama
Nebraska- who barely beat ISU? I hate the trasative property, but it works wonders for this example... Utah beat ISU by 40, Nebraska beat ISU by 1...
Based on the way that their defense plays, if you can honestly tell me that you have no doubt Oregon and Auburn would wipe the field with TCU I will shut up. I just do not see it. I do not see a more complete team in the country when compared to TCU
I am clearly biased as I picked TCU to reach the title game, but I honestly think that they are the best team in the country. There does not seem to be a flaw on this team, where as Auburn and Oregon don't have a defense. Alabama is still right there with them.
I know, and for the most part I love his input too. Just seemed to be going over the top recently. (Although I am sure that has more to do with the last troll)
And I thought I hated Duke! Your level of hatred towards OU is rather frightening, ORD. I am actually thinking of rooting for OSU just so I don't have to see what you do if the Bobcats were to win.
I understand that you have every right to feel that way, and clearly some of the fans deserve...
Well this is the first game I will go to as an OU alumni. Should be interesting as it will also be the first time I go into the shoe wearing colors other than Scarlet and Grey.
As for those people on the OU message boards I have two responses. First, I had no idea we even had our own message...
Luongo gave up his captaincy today to focus on being a goalie. Hearing that OSU alum Ryan Kesler may be in line to be the new captain, which would be a great selection in my book. Either him or Henrik would be great.
