Dotson is going to be big time. He has great body control and uses it to high point the ball way over defenders. He has great open field speed for just a sophmore. Love how involved we are early with skill position players in Gill, Washington and Dotson. Dotson is a pure receiver but...
I don't think I've ever been so excited to see how the WR and DB classes will close. I just wish a couple of the dominoes would start falling because the final plans about numbers and the ideal finish are still unclear. Wade, DJP, Okudah and Grimes are all have 1st round size and talents. The...
I'd temper that enthusiasm until we see them against a cohesive OL that isn't just patched together. The OL is at a disadvantage in the spring game because the position is so watered down with the unit being split and none of the starting 5 from last year played. So you've got a young unit...
When he starts going up and high pointing the ball I'll get excited. Until then he's gonna get a lot of balls knocked away by DBs. He would have had 3 TDs had he gone up and got the ball. Mack does a great job of going up and attacking the football in the air.
There won't be 3 Elite RBs in an already tight class that looks to take 9 spots between DB and WR. A 3rd DT is far more important than a 3rd RB, we've at least landed high ranked RB talent although none of it's proven yet. Quality starters and depth is still a huge concern at DT. Even a 4th...
Not sure how that's going to work especially with Sibley committed too. If Akers commits then one of the other 2 will leave. I think Dobbins is the best of the 3 so I don't know if you risk pushing him out by accepting Akers. Starting to look like last years situation a little bit...
I think you're really underselling him. He's completely different than Weber, Williams and Sibley with the fact he has the speed to take it to the house. McCall can be a change of pace guy when he's not in the slot. Dobbins shouldn't be undervalued with his rare complete skill set. All 4 can...
Zeke's 1st post lists him at 6'0" 195 and running a 4.4. Dobbins is listed as 5'10" 190 running a 4.3. They have similar builds with home run speed and his stride actually reminds me of Zeke. The differences: Dobbins is shorter and will likely be lighter, doubt he reaches zeke's blocking...
Well my wish came true. His speed right now honestly looks a lil better than Zeke did at this point. But he's honestly the best back I've seen on film in the 17 class. Runs low and hard between the tackles and when he hits the second level you can wave goodbye cause "he gone". Meyer is...
Lol seriously dude? The comment was made for the 2019 or 2020 season under many assumptions hence is why I listed (2017 receiver haul). I never made a prediction about last years scoring and last years problem was poor play calling. 2013-14 seasons averaged 46 points. Back too Victor...
Yeah only a few receivers in the past decade and a half are really comparable to him Micheal Jenkins and Robo are all I can come up with. Really interested to see his frame change going through Coach Mick's workouts, and get him somewhere around 220. Our receiving corps is going to be by far...
He's my pick for the 2nd Back in the class if the staff thinks there's room. Crazy how similar of a runner he is to Zeke, and he would have the best open field speed of any of our current backs (other than Samuel).
He probably is running 3rd currently by watching our staffs pursuit, but I don't see a drop off talent wise. His film looks just as impressive and he's got the rankings to back it up as well. Just wondering if it was associated with an off the field issue because I could see his recruitment...
Just curious but what happened to this guy? Don't understand why the drop off in recruiting. I know we're in on a lot of big names but this kid has some serious speed.
I disagree because I've seen it happen before usually involving: effort, off field behavior, misgauged talent or not buying into a system. If it a player who has any of the above mentioned issues the coach will inform the player of his status and that they don't fit in anymore and at that point...
Wish we had 10 available secondary spots available in the '17 class. I thought there'd be no way we'd see another commitable offer go out at this stage with all the interest we from big time DB's across the country. He plays the ball so well in the air and he's so aggressive coming up in run...
This guy is from my county. Alder is traditionally strong in football. The last buckeye to come from there was S Donnie Nickey off the 2002 NC team. I'll have some good info on his recruitment.
In regards to this recruiting class as a whole, this is the only player that I wish things would have gone differently with. Terrell has great athleticism and has turned himself into a physical specimen. Bosa probably moving inside means we will only land one true DE in this class. Terrell...
