Honestly think we need to “respect” them less on offense in second half. They are iffy in coverage and they move their safeties around so much there’s also some deep shot available. Not a coincidence our best rhythm was spread out and working all the receivers.
Defense couldn’t ask for more but...
Got to move off that read there. Rather 1:1 jump ball to MHJR.
Just not super clicking yet. We have the momentum though and defense got tons of early halftime adjustment time
I’ve only been in Chicago for 10 years, and only really co-opted the team in a meaningful way after they drafted Justin Fields. Started getting into it, getting excited about “the process”, etc.
I fell for the hype and sprang for season opener tickets for me and my dad at home vs the Packers...
He’s changing directions more fluidly than last year. Seems like he trusts he can beat the receiver to the spot vs last year he was playing really soft and cautious
I’m not sure why the QB battle was all that close. Brown is decently mobile but not enough to make up for the lack of accuracy. You’d have to be freshman Braxton Miller dangerous to make up for how inconsistent the arm is right now.
