I think it's laziness against an opponent that it's hard to get excited about. It's easier to go for the steal instead of moving your feet, shoot a long three instead of making the extra pass or to run to the other end of the court instead of banging the glass.
This is a byproduct of...
Dials hits 1/2 again, SUllinger gets the rebound on the miss and puts it in for 2. The Bruins turn it over on the other end.
77-65 tOSU
Terence with a bad offensive foul...he is WAY off his game tonight. has really struggled all season. 4 fouls for Dials.
Inside to Dials, and a foul.
Terence misses the first, gets the second. 74-65 Bucks.
Buckeyes get the rebound on the other end and Dials is fouled again.
Our over-aggressive D is being exposed by a team that will make the extra pass and hit a wide open shot.
We've played sloppy, made bad turnover, stupid-mistakes...we aren't rebounding or playing consistent, solid D. Really, it seems like laziness.
Our defense has consisted of going for the steal...we over pursue and the drive and dish is WIDE OPEN. It's terrible defensive philosophy...especially when you don't rebound.
Dials looks bad...no points.
63-59
I can use all the help I can get...I didn't intend to do a play-by-play, but we've got some folks without game access that need updates...haha.
We definately are sleepwalking.
Butler with a steal, Lewis fouled on the shot...
43-37 Buckeyes...Belmont has gotten three straight possessions because of sylvester retaliating for an earlier foul.
...I have thoughts running through my head that will remain there.
JaKel Foster takes a steal the distance and gets fouled...45-37 with a foul shot to come.
