So the question really boils down to:
A. Winning a national championship in 2019 and missing the playoffs in 2020.
or
B. Making the playoff both years, losing in the semis in 2019 and losing in the finals in 2020.
I could be wrong in this one, but I'd say north of 90% of Buckeye fans would...
I'm as big a Burrow fan as you'll find. That said, your logic is spurious at best.
Haskins in 2018:
373/533 (70% completion), 4,831 yards, 50 TDs, 8 INTs
Burrow in 2018:
219/379 (57.8% completion), 2,894 yards, 16 TDs, 5 INTs
So I think we can all agree that Urban made the correct call in...
Yep. It's pretty amazing how we can't swing the ball out of that and find the open man. It's like our guys have never faced a double team in their lives.
Lazy, uninspired play on both ends of the floor--when OSU is on defense, PSU is getting a layup or a wide open three-pointer on each trip down, and when OSU is on offense, the Bucks just turn the ball over repeatedly.
His name's evidently at least being tossed around for the vacant Pac-12 commissioner post.

I'm also not a bit fan of just sitting back and letting the opposing team drain a game-winner on your head with like 2 seconds to play. I'd pressure the ball--maybe you get a steal, maybe a turnover, maybe the offense goes faster than it wants to, and you get the ball back a bit earlier...
No, the play you're talking about happened with just under a minute to play, when Stefanovich hit a three and (also) was wide f'n open b/c Ahrens got screened unlike I've ever seen anyone get screened. The play I'm talking about was with like 3 minutes to go, Ivey made the three b/c his man...
Huge play was when OSU went up 6 with just over 3 minutes to play, and Young was about a million miles from Ivey, who promptly drilled a 3 when the Bucks were about to blow the game open. Holtmann chewed Young on the sideline, and I really have no idea what he (Young) was thinking.
Feel pretty bad for the guy--he went from opting out and, by all accounts, a sure-fire first round pick, to coming back to help his team win a NC, and somehow playing himself down into the third or fourth round. Hope I'm wrong here--maybe he blows up in pre-draft workouts and a team falls in...
Love this guy, but hope he learned that to win an NC, you have to be elite--that game plan tonight? Not elite. Heisman winner had 200+ yards receiving at the half, and that's just the beginning. I think Day will be fine, but Jesus he has some wood to chop if he wants to win a title.
That would be hilarious, for sure. But you don't teabag the coach with whom you're signing a long term extension and then expect him to give you 100% effort a day later.
