  1. Reverend Dabo Swinney (HC Clemson Tigers - GSCS), random mid-century cars, and steroids

Why take the credit away from Sermon? He was unstoppable we had no answers for him whether we knew your plays or not makes no difference if we can't tackle him
  2. Reverend Dabo Swinney (HC Clemson Tigers - GSCS), random mid-century cars, and steroids

Yeah you are right this was the first time anyone has ever hid their signals or varied their tempo vs Brent's defense
  3. Reverend Dabo Swinney (HC Clemson Tigers - GSCS), random mid-century cars, and steroids

Good game guys. Sermon was unstoppable truly a 1 man wrecking crew. Haven't seen a Brent defense EVER have that much trouble tackling. Can't wait to play again next year. We will return a minimum of 90% of our 2 deep on D, possibly everyone. I expect 2021 to be Brent's best defense yet...
  4. Sugar Bowl: #3 Ohio State 49, #2 Clemson 28, Jan 1 in New Orleans

it would of been shoulder to hip and he would of wrapped up his legs and dragged him down just like any regular tackle. Hopefully neither team gets called for the rest of the game
  5. Sugar Bowl: #3 Ohio State 49, #2 Clemson 28, Jan 1 in New Orleans

He did go for the wrap up but Field spun in to his helmet
  6. Sugar Bowl: #3 Ohio State 49, #2 Clemson 28, Jan 1 in New Orleans

Fields spun in to his helmet. I get it thats your QB but thats an impossible situation for the LB Hopefully the ref doesn't call anymore for either team
  7. Sugar Bowl: #3 Ohio State 49, #2 Clemson 28, Jan 1 in New Orleans

Was he supposed to do? chest bump him down? Any reasonable person understands thats an impossible situation with Fields spun back in to his helmet. Good luck may the best team win. Win or lose hopefully they don't call targeting on either team for the rest of the game
  8. Sugar Bowl: #3 Ohio State 49, #2 Clemson 28, Jan 1 in New Orleans

I knew this would happen. Skal goes for a nornal standard tackle that would have been shoulder to hip but at the last second Fields spins from left to right and gets rammed in the back. Its impossible to play defense in 2020
  9. Sugar Bowl: #3 Ohio State 49, #2 Clemson 28, Jan 1 in New Orleans

Buckeye fans: The time is near for love of god hopefully the refs don't call targeting, hopefully no injuries and may the best team win and kick Bama's ass. Watching this game and knowing ND very well Bama looks beatable
  10. Sugar Bowl: #3 Ohio State 49, #2 Clemson 28, Jan 1 in New Orleans

When it comes to OL on paper we never have had top talent. It has been mostly 3 stars. Mitch Hyatt being the exception he was a Clemson legacy and even in terms of NFL we have only had 4 OL drafted(3rd Rd, 4th Rd, 5th Rd and 7th Rd). It's about the unit more than the individual on the OL. The OL...
  11. Sugar Bowl: #3 Ohio State 49, #2 Clemson 28, Jan 1 in New Orleans

Off topic but Oklahoma State had a WR 'opt out' at halftime of their bowl game. Buckeye fans what are your opinions on this? Coaches like Dabo and Day have the leverage to tell any recruit up front from day 1 if you plan on opt outing don't come here. I would hope they would start to use this...
  12. Sugar Bowl: #3 Ohio State 49, #2 Clemson 28, Jan 1 in New Orleans

Thanks and I love talking recruiting too. I used to read the thread on Deshaun Watson several years ago.
  13. Sugar Bowl: #3 Ohio State 49, #2 Clemson 28, Jan 1 in New Orleans

The running game definitely is less dominant than usual but I think the shift in the passing game(from outside to inside) has a lot to do with that. We did a great job running vs VT and ND though so hopefully thats figured out.
  14. Sugar Bowl: #3 Ohio State 49, #2 Clemson 28, Jan 1 in New Orleans

First I want to say I love the build up to this game it is going to be INCREDIBLY intense. Trevor is playing better than ever but its a different passing offense mainly throwing to the slot, TE and RBs as opposed to the Higgins/Ross or Bryant/Watkins offenses that you've seen before. We mostly...
