  1. QB Cardale '12 Gauge' Jones (B1G Champion, National Champion)

I am surprised that no one I have read has linked this twitter exchange with the tweet that he was previously known for. The two messages would seem to contradict one another: "I came here to play football" vs. "There is more to me than football." One wonders if the former was intended to be...
  2. QB J.T. Barrett (B1G FOY, All American, Silver Football Award, 3x B1G QBOY, National Champion)

Man, I will be happy with any of the three QBs and will feel bad for the 2 that don't win the job, but in my heart, I find myself rooting for JT the most.
  3. tOSU vs. Ohio - Tuesday, 11/12 - 8:00 PM - BTN

As a long time player, coach, and (for a while) referee I appreciate the changes. I felt the game was getting out of hand with physical play, particularly as the young men that play big time college basketball started to hit the weight room harder back in the 90's. I think you will find that the...
  4. Game Thread tOSU at NW'ern, Oct 5, 8 ET, ABC/ESPN/ESPN2

What are you talking about? As soon as the timeout was called they DID start showing replays. Thats why it ended up getting reviewed.
  5. Game Thread tOSU at NW'ern, Oct 5, 8 ET, ABC/ESPN/ESPN2

That may be, but in goal line situations, we almost exclusively up until that point had snapped the ball quickly. I am glad they choose not to run replays to the extent that we miss live action. On that particular play, the producers used good judgement.
  6. Game Thread tOSU at NW'ern, Oct 5, 8 ET, ABC/ESPN/ESPN2

I don't blame them. We quite often get lined up and snap the ball in mere seconds in those situations. Seems they had done their homework and were ready for that to happen.
  7. Game Thread tOSU at NW'ern, Oct 5, 8 ET, ABC/ESPN/ESPN2

Ya, great effort, but don't know what the hell he was thinking when he could have made a play at the point of reception. He certainly did not do his job on that play.
  8. 2013 tOSU Defense Discussion

Spence is putting up better numbers than Clowney this year and is about on pace with Clowney's sack numbers from last year.
  9. Tom Herman (Former Head Coach FAU Owls)

We punted only 3 times (+ the fake punt) and put up 250 yards rushing at over 5 per carry. The running game was working better as the game wore on. I know that doesn't fit your narrative, but I'll take that for any game against any opponent.
  10. Game Thread Wisconsin at tOSU, Sep 28th, 8 ET, ABC/ESPN/ESPN2

Ladies and gentlemen, I'll be brief. The issue here is not whether we broke a few rules, or took a few liberties with our female party guests—we did. But you can't hold a whole fandom responsible for the behavior of a few, sick perverted individuals. For if you do, then shouldn't we blame the...
  11. HB Dontre 'DeSoto' Wilson (Official Thread)

Since he also made a reference to "pinning their ears back" I'm gonna go with yes.
  12. WR James Clark (transferring to Virginia Tech)

Your probably one of the first people to ask why we don't have more players with game experience when starters get hurt, aren't you?
  13. Coming from Toronto Canada for my first Buckeyes game against Wisconsin

First piece of advice...leave Friday instead of Saturday. There is enough to do to last you all day.
  14. 2013 tOSU Defense Discussion

I thought the play was covered well and the QB made an outstanding throw. I know it is easier to find fault than recognize excellence, but I think this one was pretty obvious.
  15. Game Thread tOSU at Cal Bears, Sep 14, 7 ET, Fox

I am a bit of a hippie, albeit an older one. I suppose if you think you are better than us, then more power to you. Peace!
  16. QB/WR Braxton Miller (B1G POY, National Champion, OSU HOF)

Miller is, one minute, the most dynamic player in OSU history, and the next, the most dramatic player in OSU history.
  17. Johnny Manziel (unemployed)

An esteemed BP poster told me relatively recently that OSU athletes receive free legal representation from university hired attorneys when they are reported to have assaulted our fine citizens.
  18. 2013 Week 2 B1G FB Open Thread

I've never understood how people can be anything other than passively interested for a game involving 2 teams they don't like.
