QB for Texas
A reporter said on the radio that the Texas staff is enamored with Snead as QB. he has a strong arm, but more importantly, shows great huddle presence, and to look for him to win the job by mid-season. This is just one guy's opinion, but just wanted to throw this in.
The guy can play. There was that play in the fourth quarter where he leveled VY. I think we called a timeout, so VY could collect himself. We never see VY in so much pain (he did hurt an ankle against CU) and you knew it was a monster hit. That is why we have so much respect for Hawk. VY pulled...

What the heck are the Packers thinking?
And AJ Hawk at pick 5??? He did awesome in college but if you saw his clips, did you notice that he was always late to react on pass plays? He's not going to be able to do that with the speed of the NFL, he...
This could get it going again
In a way, you could use the five first-rounders from OSU as criticism of the program. When a team has so many talented players, should they be losing to teams (Penn St., Texas) with less? You could argue (as OU fans have done with us for years) that the coaching...
We're of course, very excited about the game. There hasn't been much prediction about what kind of team we'll have, because, frankly, we have no idea. We don't know how our strong offensive players will function without VY. Most of us are pretty confident about our defense, but as the old saying...
Poster here in Austin. Sure, there are jerks here who think we'll crush everyone--I'm seen some similar posts by OSU fans. The vast majority of Texas fans are wary. I don't sense any feeling that the OSU game will be anything but a catfight from beginning to end.
Can't disagree with a few of the sentiments expressed here. Still, the key to the reason I ultimately diagree with it is because my sleeping with Scarlett has nothing to do with "telling someone years from now." It's for it's own intrinsic pleasure and value today for me, and I don't care if...
First of all, I'm a Horn, so I don't really want to see Ohio State beat Texas. Second of all, I've already exerienced the high of seeing my team beat you guys--it was good, almost as good as winning the NC. Still, even after experiencing those thrills, I'd still happily opt for the alternative.
Someone is going to have to explain the logic of this one to me. Because I would prefer sleeping with one of the hottest women in the world over a football victory, somehow that makes me gay? And needless to say, you're the one who is apparently fixated with gay imagery.
And I might be Ho Chi Min.
Seriously, I'm starting to worry about the state of manhood in Ohio. To the guy who said he'd "take the the win cause it would be in the records book." Trust me, if I were fortunate to sleep with Scarlett, it would be in the records book--my records book, as the...
You just made my evening.
Okay, OSU fans, I'll pose an theoretcal dilemma for you:
Which would you take?
An OSU win in Austin, or a night with Scarlett Johannson?
Wouldn't be much of dilemma for me.
Incidentally, for anyone who hasn't seen it, "A Bridge Too Far" is a fine movie with a great cast. What sets it apart is that it adheres fairly closely to the actual events. Also, there are some really nice explosions in it, especially when the British Typoon fighter bombers bomb the German...
