I think some of these evaluators on Rivals/Scout just have no clue how to evaluate CBs. I remember last year when everyone raved about Raeshon McNeil, a ND recruit, because no pass was completed to his guy and he had an INT. But it was PLAINLY OBVIOUS that just about every single time he was...
Don't think it meant much at all, some of these kids play the recruiting game REALLY well. Let's not forget that just a couple weeks ago, USC supposedly was the favorite by far.
I don't think any part of the country, except probably the SEC parts, were knocking the top of the Big 10. Most people are saying the SEC is the best conference because they go much deeper. Like the B10, the SEC had some mismatch match-ups like the Iowa and the Purdue games with UGA vs. VT and...
Rattlers you mean? We got by them football team style! I think it'll be a close game, and I think there'll be a lot more scoring by both sides than most expected.
Well, we don't pretend that we're nearly as crazy about bball as we are about football. Basketball is just so often about the last few minutes that the first 30 minutes or so aren't all that important. So it's kinda hard to sit and watch every second of a basketball game, on any level.
I agree, too. I remember this UF squad getting their ass whooped a few times when they were mostly young, and that was with NBA players Roberson, Walsh, and Lee playing on the team. The worst one was in the NCAA tournament against a veteran Villanova, when we pretty much got dominated...
Hey, sorry if I came off smug earlier, didn't know you guys get so defensive about basketball as we do about football. Honestly, I think UF, at least on paper, is a much better team. Much, much more experience, 3 definite 1st rders, very good in every department, good coaching, and playing on...
You guys don't need to be too stressed about this game. Florida gave similar beatings to every team they played in the NCAA tournament last year except one, including the championship game. When the Gators are at or near full strength and are clicking, they're almost unstoppable. Part of the...
He's using it as the past participle actually :wink2:
As for Meyer going to OSU, the only way it happens is via NFL. I don't see any successful HFC at a major university jump to another program directly.
Hey, just thought you guys might be interested since two guys you're recruiting, Major Wright and Leonard Hankerson, play for STA. Neither made much of an impact in the game, though not due to any fault of their own. Neither Lakeland nor STA could throw the ball(terrible QBs), so Hankerson...
BEST HIGH SCHOOL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME EVER!!!!!!
1st OT(each side gets the ball at the 10, 4 plays to score TD or FG as usual):
STA ball first, and they score a TD fairly easily.
Rainey carries, had his shoulder dislocated and had an apparent TD, but ruled out of bounds at the 2(video...
Holy cow, WHAT A FRIGGIN GAME!! STA just would not go away. They were down 21-0 going into the 4th and 28-7 with 6 mins left. Then their RB rips off a long one to pull within 14. The onside kick fails and Rainey rips off another long one for a 35-14 advantage with 4 mins left. STA's QB...
Somewhat, yes. They did admit that he took stuff, but they said something like the cash, given to him valued less than 10 dollars and the store gives out free stuff from time to time anyway.
Anyway, 21-0 Lakeland at the half, STA has something like 3 fumbles and 1 INT, looking like the past 2...
