It looks like ex-Vols coach Phillip Fulmer is interested in a coaching job somewhere. Wouldn't he be a great hire for Arizona State or UCLA? He went 152-52 at Tennessee and won the world's first BCS NC. Plus he was single-handedly responsible for Peyton Manning's development as a QB.
Yeah...
Speaking about the 'best player on the best team' argument... Remember in 2007 when Skip Bayless was on ESPN saying that Todd Boeckman should win the Heisman because he is the best player on the #1 team?
I miss the 2007 season, South Florida #1 in the country, Boston College rolling, and then...
I take back that statement about Auburn.
My point is that there aren't many coaches who would kick their starting QB off the team before a season where they're ranked in the top 5. But luckily for Masoli, Houston Nutt was willing to look past all of his mistakes and bring him on board for...
Speaking of the thread title - will the topic of Oversigning be mentioned by ESPN when talking about these teams?
I mean besides being in the SEC West these teams do have something else in common...
Can Urban Meyer be on the sideline, and can he coach during the game (like Braxton)? Assuming Fickell lets him?
It seems to me the NCAA doesn't have any rules on new coaches in these situations. I wonder if Fickell will let him run some parts of practices or something...
Remember when Troy went and they couldn't stop talking about his booster stuff? I wonder what they will say about a player who couldn't rack up more numbers this year because he got caught with MJ?
Uh oh here we go again. He got his release from ND and is shopping around. Wiscy, San Diego State, and Utah look to be interested in him.

1. Marcus Allen looked like he wanted to go to sleep at both CCG. I think Dhani Jones, even though he's from TSUN, was a good halftime analyst.
2. There were mistakes by FOX but I think they'll get better in the future. At least the stadium clocks operated.
3. It's going to be weird having...
It's Army vs Navy on December 10 but the bowls are being picked December 4. How does it work out if they are both 5-6 entering the game and they don't know which one will be bowl eligible after? Does the Military Bowl just keep an open spot?
BTW this year they are both bowl ineligible.
I see your point, but I still wouldn't let LSU get any easy TDs. I would make Jordan Jefferson put together an 80 yard drive to get a TD, not let Honey Badger get an easy pick 6.
