Nate was a great edge rusher earlier in his career...Its a shame injuries cost him so much...He had a skill that is at a premiusm in the NFL: edge speed
Sorry Ill pass on DA and Nathan Williams...at one time I saw Williams as a draft pick in this league but injuries have decimated him...
I hope Weeden makes the necessary progression from year 1 to year 2..Until that happens no matter how much we upgrade and improve we cannot consistently...
Hearing alot about Steelers CB Keenan Lewis also...Reportedly Pittsburgh didn't even bother making him an offer...Bringing in a player with a vendetta against a former team who happens to be a division rival? I like it!
I read a link to an article on 11W that says the Browns are "closing in" on Paul Kruger....One player I think we should sign is Louis Vasquez..the SD guard...he is only 25 years old and very solid...Also the possible addition of Jared Cook excites me...
Side note: in the later portion of the...
Couldn't agree more with the Avril-Ellerbe>Kruger statement....Makes sense too since Freeney is out of Indy...Just worry about Kruger to Indy and we don't get Ellerbe but I definitely want Cliff Avril...Legit pass rusher!
I told my dad the same thing the other day..Kruger emerged when Suggs come back...And also agree about liking Ellerbee more but he will stay in Baltimore..
Anybody like Tyler Wilson or Tyler Bray in the third round?
Is Andy Levitre, the guard for the Bills, gonna command top dollar in free agency. Would love to see a solid guard signed. Maybe the Chargers guard who is also a free agent..
Per Mike Tannebaum of NFL Network...Mike Lombardi really likes Jarvis Jones...Idk risk worth reward?:
Prior would be our ace if Bowden was still GM..Somewhere the Jimmy Anderson and Paul Wilson's of the world are saying "So your saying I have a chance!"0
Id like to sign a young WR for the slot...Maybe Benjamin could fill that role but I see upside in Sanders...The Steelers prolly let Wallace walk and resign Sanders for his spot at wideout...I think Little and Gordon are outside receivers...I want a speedy slot receiver...As for Ansah at #6...we...
With all the talk about Mike Wallace...I got to thinking about Emmanuel Sanders...I think he'd be a cheaper WR with a similar skill set and he is a free agent..though restricted
I just mean to compare edge speed....maybe not production..
I hate the DE\OLB projection...Really hard to judge...I remember the failed Kam Wimbley experiment..but it is a pivotal position in a 3-4..prolly that and NT are the most important positions in a 3-4
Completely agree with the overall lack of solid top 10 picks in this draft...They're really is nobody that jumps off the screen to me....I agree I like Mingo fluidity during his drills yesterday but he looks little to me..I can see him being a non factor in running plays as a tackle or guard...
