All I can say is WOW... Does he hate OSU so much that he is predisposed to make erroneous arguments when the Buckeyes are concerned or is he always like that?
Oh...and sorry for the Akron blast on the other board. Considering how the MACCG ended, it was kind of a low blow, even if epasnoopy...
Thanks for the pictures!
They pretty much look as I thought they would. Xbox 360 in HD prepared me for it.
I still like the previous look a lot better, but I can handle the change back to the Bruce-era stripes for awhile. They, after all , were what the Buckeyes were wearing when I was a...
Well the fact of the matter is that they have to deal with “Cheatypants Mc Sweater-vest” and his unscrupulous recruiting tactics. Yeah, that’s it... It has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that Tressel’s players get drafted higher, are better developed, and actually win BCS games. At some...
Sorry to hear that people laughed at you. Same thing happened to me when I brought his name up to my friends when Cooper was let go. They have since given me the "good call" props, so I don't feel the need to rub it in.
I was thinking the same thing.
If the NIU guys are looking for respect, then here it is: R-E-S-P-E-C-T. I wouldn't be surprised if Wolfe did rush for more than a hundred yards and got a few more from pass receptions against the Buckeyes. Running backs have played well against OSU in the past...
I pretty much agree with what you have asserted in the text quoted above and I also agree with the assertion that ESPN is not out to get Ohio State per se. As you have pointed out, espn.com has been giving the Buckeyes a lot of love and hype this summer.
I also think Tom Friend (and others at...
I also believe they are giving USC more of a pass because they (especially Tom Friend) got embarrassed by (1) the NCAA's findings against OSU and (2) their "smoking gun" Maurice Clarett himself. I think that this time they are being a little more cautious before they start an all-out attack...
I don't think author(s) meant any harm in the comparison, but I do think that such a comparison is flawed. Nothing screams Jim Tressel like choking a paparazzi, being outspoken politically, and the advocacy of legalized marijuana.
I do think the author was trying to be cute, but confused...
Agreed.
I think Pittman's (1) experience of being in the program for a couple of years; (2) knowledge the offense; and (3) excellent performance at crucial times during big games last season will pay huge dividends for the Buckeyes this year. I don't think he's going anywhere save for an...
duel or duo
I hope duo.
I think Pittman will start the entire season, but I believe that Wells will get more carries as the year progresses. I also think Well's playing time during the crucial parts of games will be determined more upon his ability to pass block than his ability to run the...
It's amazing how great the play-calling is when (1) the line blocks; (2) the fullback blows up the linebacker in the hole; and (3) the tailback makes the safty miss. It's also funny how the play-calling sucks when the defense makes a play.
I truly hope he is because because running over a...
Agreed--even when the tailback is not large and powerful, e.g. Reggie Bush. USC runs the I-formation and variations thereof and the "experts" seem to be mesmerized by their play-calling.
