Honestly? Yes. Flame me all you want, but I do think that Vince is a better passer then he gets credit for and although Ohio State is a great program, they do not have an NFL defense. Again, I am not about to claim that Vince will be a better NFL QB then Vick..that would be silly since he has...
Wow...name calling...good job.
I never said it was the "single" reason. Nobody is drafted for 1 reason only, but it was the primary factor. Did you already forget that 2004 (the year Schaub was drafted) that Atlanta had just hired a new head coach and and a new GM? Schaub was a message pick...

As for scouting and personel moves, I know you were just trying to be an a-hole, but my uncle is in the Bucs' front office, and has been involved pro-football (both NFL and USFL) for his entire adult life. So, while I'm...
I honestly don't want to get in an argument about this but teams don't use 3rd round picks just for back-up QBs. They use free agency. The only reason you take a QB at that spot is to give your starter a hint that you aren't happy. Period.
PS - I am not one of those saying that Vick is better...
Obviously, my fantasy league teammates didn't get the memo...Vick was the 14th QB taken in our draft...:wink2:
If he is such a great QB, why did Atlanta waste a 3rd round pick on Schaub last year? I haven't seen Minnesota or Indy picking up QBs in the draft lately.
OK, I've been lurking long enough...
Melton is 6-3 276 pounds and runs a 4.6...AJ Hawk and Co are bad-ass LBs but I tend to think that a full speed colision would not be to their advantage. :D
