Yeah, there are a lot of older people, but from the couple days I spent, there seemed to be quite a few people our age. There's a rather large State Farm Insurance...uh...building there, and they seem to have a relatively young staff from what I've seen.
When I installed fence here in Ohio (3 years), I would average more hours in the winter than summer. When I switched to poured walls/flatwork, it just dies in the winter, of course. The fucked up thing is, I had been told by my most recent employer that I was "the best hiring decision I've ever made", and when it came time to go back this spring, he just fucked me over. He'd call me in a few days a week, then not at all for three weeks. My car got all fucked up, no income to fix it...and now I'm up shit creek...for now.
