Not hard at all. Get some good British shaving cream or shaving soap and a decent badger shaving brush (<$50 but will last you a decade), watch some of the youtube videos on technique and take your time (i.e. don't give up if the first couple of shaves are a little rough). If you're serious send me a pm, and I'll give you some links and more info. Also, NewYorkBuck is into it also, so he might have some good info.
