Win, Mocha is now just under 90. They say labs take maybe one more year until her puppiness is gone. She is stubborn, but in a friendly, "All I want to do is play" way. Will come up and start pawing me with her big mitts because she wants to play - or for me to throw something - or to give her a rawhide chew. But she is so damn big and strong she can knock you off balance just running by you for the door if she thinks there is a chance you are taking her walking... Better days ahead - I hope.

My dog Brutus must have spoken to Mocha this weekend as he now seems imprevious to to correction. He consistantly jumps up on my chest....LOL!!!
How is training going on your end???

Mocha weighs about 45 now! She is a hand full. I am about to get a bark trainer, and maybe one that can be used to teach her some other manners. She is impervious to kneeing in the chest when she jumps up, and holding her mouth shut when she starts biting only works for a minute and she starts again.

I need to sign her up for obedience in a hurry. And I think she likes fetching so much she will make a good gun dog. Noise does not bug her at all so far.

What is your training method?

Her name is "Mocha", because if you look the very top of her head, it has a sort of brownish sheen in amongst the black - like a chocolate lab ancestor.

As an SPCA pup, she has no history, but she is fixed and has a chip put in. Very very friendly puppy, and I am holding her and running my hands on her legs, and rubbing her tummy, holding her upside down, etc. -and taking her food and treats away multiple times mid-eating so that she knows who is the boss and not to growl about food or treats - and that the vet can hold and touch her anyway they want.

In a year she will be calmer and life can return to normal. She is chewing everything in sight right now.

Oh. Got a new black lab pup for the 12 year old boy. She is about 25 pounds. No clue how old, but still has those damn baby teeth. I got scars. But a typical soft lab mouth, despite the needles

Yep, 3 months old and about 35 lbs. a piece. Is that a picture of lil gator? Cute kid, must take after his mother. LOL... They are calling my flight. Got to go....Take Care....
