I think that's very right. Open space closes quickly. Taking it right damn now is the difference between 5-7 yds and 0-3 yards or worse. You're not, typically running past or juking defenders as a QB, at least not routinely. You're just taking the space that they've cleared. Take it, move...
And Howard. You don't have to (and shouldn't) be Johnny Manziel. You just have to pick up first downs when the field is spread and they're there to be gotten.
I think we will be pleased/pleasantly surprised by this young defense and the older transfer guys. The staff on this side of the ball is legit and will have them ready. I'll admit that I was a little concerned about the Animal being more of a novelty than Hartline for the linebackers...
The relevance is that if Sayin doesn’t move on, we have a qb controversy or worse. I think Sayin probably leaves and St. Clair takes over. The issue is that we risk losing him if he doesn’t at least get a fair chance to win it if Sayin stays and legit game minutes if he doesn’t win it.
2027 is an issue if Sayin doesn’t move on. Great college qb, questionable for the pros. TSC will be ready by then and we won’t want to risk losing him. It will be an interesting competition.
The specific context is important. It was in relation to the video of MP talking about the draft. Not biggest upgrade overall; as a person and players’ coach.
The grad symbolic logic classes were a significant contributing factor to my pulling the rip cord and coming back to ATL for law school. There was just no way to maintain the tOSU undergrad (both my roommates were) lifestyle to which I’d become accustomed as the classes got more advanced. :)
I was on a philosophy teaching fellowship from '91-'93, then bailed and went to law school. Taught ethics and logic, which is ironic as I'm frequently unethical and illogical. Was my first job and I think it paid $18K a year plus my grad tuition and student football tix. Lived in what could...
I love the body control and change of speed/direction and his ability/willingness to run through contact. He seems to have awareness that's difficult to coach.
