I'm really glad Day took a shot on Lock. Somewhat risky, a little quirky, unconventional history, but turned out to be exactly what the RB room and team needed. A lot of, maybe most, blue chip organizations wouldn't take that chance.
From my outer fringe perspective, I’d go with Howard over Stroud for leadership. I just don’t see us getting out of the scum hole after the Game and then going in that NC run under Stroud.
Well, he certainly looks the part and it sounds like he's worked hard to get back in line with the program. I hope he gets some game minutes to show what he's got.
My point exactly. The relentless QB recruiting and development means not being hostage to what-if apprehension. I'd think that most programs would be handcuffed by Sayin's upside even if he's not the better player this year. We don't have to be.
Fucking hell, he certainly passes the QB look-test. Comparable size standing right next to Jackson. The fear is that Sayin will bounce out if he doesn't start, but TSC is on deck and the hedge against that loss. If LK is the right guy, that should be the decision.
Seriously and it's not like Lincoln is like the portal guy (sorry, no idea who he is) they brought in or a brand new freshman (yes, I know who TSC is). He could be a baller.
