The grad symbolic logic classes were a significant contributing factor to my pulling the rip cord and coming back to ATL for law school. There was just no way to maintain the tOSU undergrad (both my roommates were) lifestyle to which I’d become accustomed as the classes got more advanced. :)

I was on a philosophy teaching fellowship from '91-'93, then bailed and went to law school. Taught ethics and logic, which is ironic as I'm frequently unethical and illogical. Was my first job and I think it paid $18K a year plus my grad tuition and student football tix. Lived in what could...

You must've taken my Introduction to Logic course at tOSU in the early-90s. :)

    2026 tOSU Special Teams Discussion

Agreed, TB, but wtf, why did it take so long and so many fuck-ups for him to get serious?

I love the body control and change of speed/direction and his ability/willingness to run through contact. He seems to have awareness that's difficult to coach.

I'm all for it, but I also really want to see mid-field crossing patterns hitting our guys in stride. We basically have Jerry Rice. Who's going to be able to cover/stop him on a slant? Of course, that's predicated on having a QB without midfield visual agnosia.

Maybe, but I don't see CBs leaving after one year as frequently as other positions.

My knees hurt just watching that, but he seems to have the right mindset and I'm looking forward to seeing him play for us.

Except that he's not going to transfer again after this season unless something goes seriously off of the rails. Plays in 26, starts in 27 and 28. Got to think that's both sides' intention with bringing him in.

Makes losing the two CBs to the portal a little better.

I saw a video of her in that when I was in the 7th grade and was never the same again.

Maybe that's a silver lining in Hartline moving on. He seemed to want to continue holding the line against PT until he thought they were absolutely ready. If he made two 5 stars sit last year, there's no reason to think he would've felt differently in '26.

QB1 Julian Sayin (All B1G, B1G Frosh of Year, All American, National Frosh of Year, National Champion)

Couldn't agree more, Steve. I'm also hoping that we get to see some of TSC's development, at least early in the year. It's a good QB room right now.

I would guess that Day, Bjork, & Co. had a fairly in-depth interview(s) with him and asked that he explain his thoughts on the differences between his TN and ATL/Pitt offenses. Presumably, he answered to their satisfaction and was able to express how he thought he’d fit into the current team...

For the record, Sonny would like to make it clear that he does NOT miss tackles and this is clearly a far-fetched hypothetical unless, of course, it is intended to reference his brother.
