    RB Isaiah West (Official Thread)

He's big enough to be a decent pass blocker. If Henderson did it (and did it well), there's no reason why he can't get there.

    LB Payton Pierce (National Champion)

We're going to need the next guys up next year. I'm glad he's getting real minutes and doing well this year.

LB Alex “Sonny” Styles, Block 'O' (National Champion)

Love how he didn't let himself get caught up in the pile. Played off, watched, reacted. He made it look easy there. It is not easy, especially not for as long as he stayed clean.

    WR Carnell Tate (National Champion)

I read somewhere that he was feeling unusually tight in warm ups. Sometimes that just happens and certainly not worth pulling or ripping a hamstring for Purdue. I pulled one in a bs informal summer training session one time when I knew I shouldn’t be running. Took months to feel right for...

    2025 tOSU Offense Discussion

Agreed, I meant that the 4.5 ypc average is good, but not great. I like what we’re seeing from BJ and IW.

    2025 tOSU Offense Discussion

Not great, but absent the nonexistent block in the back call, the average yesterday goes up.

    QB Lincoln Kienholz (National Champion)

Looked really good on the TD run. Does anyone know if he can catch? I think we’re keeping another playmaker on the sideline.

    DC Matt Patricia (Official Thread)

"I'm glad it was the right culture fit because Patricia is a defensive genius." And he's a genius who fits the culture because unlike FrankenKnowles, he would never refer to himself as a genius and/or mad scientist.

    LB Arvell Reese (National Champion)

I agree, there's a certain amount of instinct that you just can't coach, but he's also making it look so smooth and easy because of the mental development and, as I think most of the defense has said all year in various interviews, Patricia's coaching lets him play faster.

    LB Arvell Reese (National Champion)

Also, the game intelligence and processing speed to maximize the athletic talent. He’s a poster child for the Developed Here motto. Bringing him along relatively slowly and then getting him real minutes last year is making him a top ten, at least, pick in his first year as a starter. He...

    2025 tOSU Defense Discussion

Agreed, but with 26 of that 93 on the first play. I admit that when I saw that I thought we'd be in for a long day. They definitely pulled it together, though, especially in the second half.

Is This The Best OSU Team Ever?

2019 didn’t quite get it done. 2024 lost to tcun, but ripped through four top ten teams to take it. None of our other teams have done that. Some maybe could’ve, but didn’t have the opportunity. 2024 did and took it.

    2025 tOSU Defense Discussion

I thought Jack and JT underachieved a little given the hype and expectations and Curry and Jackson have definitely overachieved this far. DL was supposed to be a question, but KMac and those guys have flat gotten after it.

Is This The Best OSU Team Ever?

Fair to say that the potential and opportunity are there, but, to echo the above post, special teams are subpar, run game is suspect until proven otherwise, I still have red zone concerns, and, while I think the OL will be fine, there’s certainly room for improvement there, too.

Game Thread Penn State at #1 tOSU, Sat. Nov. 1st, 12pm ET, FOX

One dimensional with a backup qb in his first big game as a starter. Patricia and Co. confounded Arch & Sark for most of the opener and shit down Williams at UDub. I don’t see the pedsters doing much.
