I watched it too, just plain domination. Unless you're a PSU fan or have no team at all, it's going to be boring this year in the team race. Nobody is even close to them.
Not to nag on your wife, but that is the definition of insanity. But definitely to nag on the Bengals, it's the same shit every year and making no changes should make fans throw up their hands and walk away.
Oh man this is seriously huge. Really needed a guy like this losing McDonald. Can't wait to see him in action! Bama is turning into a portal pipeline for us.
I'm with you, I don't think we expected it simply because of numbers. We had to have most of these guys start or be regular contributors. Now we've gotta scramble to have a semblance of what we saw last year on defense. Reese and Downs had to be presumed to be gone, but the rest of the...
I read the name and thought we got a Nascar driver in the portal. In all seriousness, really important grab in the portal after the decision of starters and depth at the position. Should work well for both parties.
Sigh. Not what we needed with Downs no longer in center field. Not even sure what safeties we have at this point? Seems like he would've seen the field a lot or even start at the position. Then again, add him to the list I have said that about that have jumped in the portal...at the very least...
Looked really good out there from what I saw, wouldn't be surprised if he's fighting to get in the field. The PT is there for the taking in the secondary.
This is very thorough and much appreciated to know what we're getting here. At least with talent development, there seems to be a lot to like. If there's any gaps on recruiting, hopefully we can adapt but I'll reserve judgment like I do with all coaches once they get. Ohio State offers a lot on...
Agreed, Bey reminds me quite a bit of Dontre Wilson coming out of HS. He was a RB/WR hybrid that we never really figured out how to use properly. Hopefully the staff will be inventive in getting him the ball as Miami is with Toney.
He would be a huge get and mostly a byproduct of bringing in Hankton as mentioned above. If we could get him and Henry Jr on the field together, that would be an incredible duo of two huge athletic WR freaks.
Excellent pickup, he really stood out against us and in every game I watched him. He's a really talented player with a hard nose for the football. This is about as sure of a thing as it gets, I'm stoked on this one.
I will be interested if Scott leaving (along with those DBs hitting the Draft) will appeal to a recruit like Meredith. You have a program with a pedigree for putting CBs in the NFL that are thriving, a very good position coach that recruits well, and the departures in the DB room would be an...
He feels that way based on what was being relayed to him by his coaches and felt that he worked towards those standards, and was playing well enough to be getting more PT. The staff apparently told him he still wasn't ready to get significant PT despite trying to meet the coaches standards. Keep...
This is not one of the good transfers. There is some general fallout after the way the season ended and some guys were going pro regardless, but there will end up being quite a few transfers that the staff didn't want. Scott is as good as gone from what I understand and we would have relied on...
I just shrugged my shoulders because I have no idea, making this transfer a complete head scratcher. I have no idea what this team will look like next year.
