On the first point, good point.
Wtf? For some reason I thought he was at a different weight. Maybe to make a splash with rankings? But regardless, who cares...Jesse handles his business and it really doesn't matter with him.
Ryder may RS now. We're banking for the future and throwing this...
Watch it from home my guy haha. Our fans get treated horribly by scUM fans and to be fair, I've seen the same in Columbus. Maybe on a different day wearing neutral colors, but definitely not for The Game. My dad and I had items hurled at us before the game started and after as we quietly tried...
Ohio QB recognizing his Ohio QB brethren. That is the only game I went to in AA. Was treated like crap but we won and I got out. TSC is fully invested though.
In my view Sanders was always the most important recruit in this class to block TSC's blindside. Don't get me wrong, Lowe is capable of that but I think he is better suited at RT and Sanders is a clear LT. Even if we don't land him, I appreciate the coaches not giving up on his recruitment.
No pitchfork in hand but Mathis and Merritt defecting this late in the game is a swift kick to the nuggets at a position of need. The timing likely leaves us scrambling to find a consolation prize, or makes us desirable to portal prospects if you you want to take the glass half full approach.
I guess I haven't been tracking this recruitment much because I didn't think we would end up with him, but I did not realize that. I'm sure we would have been elated to get his commitment, but much easier to stomach...I don't think he would have been an early contributor knowing that.
I hear you, but DL and OL is where NIL needs to go. Losing two top DEs is just making me feel like it's the same thing all over again and leads to a real issue at DE if we don't destroy the portal.
I respect Birm, but if it's actually true the coaches are fine with losing our best DE recruits at a high position of need...I'm not fine with that mentality.
Well said and all I would have to add is the southern recruits committing to get a bigger bag from an SEC school needs to be monitored very carefully moving forward. There will be a flip here, just a matter of which school and he played the system to chagrin.
But aside from my Debbie Downer...
This is the guy I want in '27. I think he fits our system very well. There are a couple others out there that I would be happy to have onboard, but Brady is the one I really like...but it is very, very early on for the '27 class.
Absolutely not after all the injuries and still performing. I feel like we can handle whatever comes at us after that last game, but the OL should be put on a pedestal. For a group unit trophy, they have earned it if we finish that out on Saturday. Great coaching but Donovan to LT, Siereveld...
Jack is peaking, he knows its time to go wolverine hunting. It is in his DNA growing up near the banks of the Olentangy. I want an absolutely dominant defensive performance overall, but I want Captain Jack to get his pound of wolverine flesh on Saturday.
Absolutely, I love the way he shows emotion because it has zero negative impact on his game and only inspires the fans and players. He's exactly what we needed on our offense. I hope he does say that in a press conference and win everyone over.
Amen. Really love the wrinkles and misdirection he has implemented. Only criticism is when we just need a yard, then tush push with a giant QB or at the very least go under center to run it. Going from the gun just allows more time for the defense to penetrate. Other than that, pretty damn great...
Agreed with all of this, Loveland and Edwards are their only legit threats...shut them down and you shut down their offense. On offense, my faith has grown in Kelly each game on play calling. We know we have a myriad of weapons, so it is play calling and not turning the ball over.
