WR Terrelle Pryor ('10 Rose, '11 Sugar MVP)

:yow1: Wow, that's even better than I remembered.

WR Terrelle Pryor ('10 Rose, '11 Sugar MVP)

Wasn't Minnesota the game where he just destroyed some guy going out of bounds to finish a run? Does anyone remember the play I'm talking about?

WR Santonio Holmes (Super Bowl XLIII MVP)

That's true. If it's that easy to abuse the system than there is certainly a problem. The only argument I have (and I realize it's not a very good one, because it doesn't even address the main issue here, which is the violation of civil rights) is that if you aren't doing anything wrong in the...

WR Santonio Holmes (Super Bowl XLIII MVP)

No. :D And I realize we're getting off topic here, but that seems like a very specific and rare scenario. In my opinion, the positives of acting on anonymous tips outweigh the negatives. That isn't to say that it's perfect by any means, because as you showed, it can be abused. I just think...

WR Santonio Holmes (Super Bowl XLIII MVP)

It's a little sketchy, but what's the alternative? Not letting cops act on anonymous tips? I don't really think that's a good idea. And besides, the charges were dropped against Santonio, so it looks like there's at least a little protection from abuse.

    Lakers +3.5 at Orlando - Game 3

LA has to be feeling damn fortunate that they pulled game 2 out at home. If Courtney Lee makes that last second layup, Orlando is up 2-1 right now.

    Lakers +3.5 at Orlando - Game 3

That turnover combined with his missed free throws down the stretch looks like it might cost the Lakers the game. Still don't think they're in any trouble in this series though.

    Lakers +3.5 at Orlando - Game 3

Orlando is shooting 78% and still losing by 1. Wow.

Lakers vs Magic - Game 2

Orlando is overmatched. This thing isn't going any longer than 5.

    Magic +5.5 at Lakers - Game 1

So he could get his 40. :roll2: To be fair, he did have an awesome game. It's just stupid that he was in that long.

Cavs 08-09 Season - Central Div Champs (official thread)

I agree with this. However, there's no way the Cavs are going to fire him the year before LeBron hits the market. That just sends all the wrong signals about the stability of the organization and the direction that it's heading in.

Cavs 08-09 Season - Central Div Champs (official thread)

Well I think that these playoffs showed us that chemistry can only take a team so far. If I remember correctly, one of the reasons that Ferry turned down the deal for Shaq was because he felt it would mess with team chemistry. Well the Cavs may have kept their chemistry but they lost out on a...

Cavs 08-09 Season - Central Div Champs (official thread)

Blow up a 66 win team? I think that might be a bit of an overreaction. This team is close. It just needs to add a player or two.

Cavs 08-09 Season - Central Div Champs (official thread)

Stoudamire has a suspect attitude. He's also expressed a desire to rejoin D'antoni in New York. So while he is easily the most explosive forward in the league, I would be hesitant to make a move for him.
