Yeah, and that's not as bad as coseches literally paying kids in duffle bags and McDonalds and you know it. Tress lying and covering should've still not gotten the punishment that many other schools did for far worse offenses. My point is the NCAA picked and chose what punishments to dole out...
The NCAAA should get no credit whatsoever. They could've made rules and guidelines on payments to players in the 1970's and chose to keep the free labor model and act like the players were "student athletes". They caused this vacuum and expected the US government to fix the mess they created...
Oh my bad if I made it seem like you were. I agree, I think tempo needs to be used at times to throw off the defense. And OSU has the talent to do that.
I think there needs to be a balance of slow pace and fast pace. The offense can't live in a fast paced no huddle offense, as they could put more pressure on the defense if they can't constantly convert first downs and TDs. Some of the analysts were talking about this already
This will be the only way programs can protect themselves from players leaving every year for another program for a bigger deal. I don't blame UC(or any school tbh) for using this tactic.
