That is one of the most absurd statements I've ever read. Wooden roller coasters are the truth, and The Beast is my favorite ever. Just after dark, riding thru the trees...the steel coasters don't compare, in my opinion.

Thanks for asking, the book is now a manuscript. I got very lucky when I did that Vets day piece on NPR. An editor from Houghton - Mifflin heard me and wrote to ask if I had anything else, especially a memoir or a novel. Hot damn! I sent her bits of both. I heard from her last week. As you can guess things are moving very slow in the pub biz, but she was getting ready to read the stuff I'd sent her. We'll see. In the meantime I've sent the book out to some readers for their feedback and have been putting the proposal package together.We're the girls from Beverly Hills, shopping is our greatest thrill!I love Beverly Hills Cop and I a fan of the troop as wellWhat's your favorite movie? -
