  • My own personal theories at work here. The U is done. Owning Palm Beach, Broward and Dade counties in recruiting is only going to get you so far. Their 30,000 seat seat attendance and renting out a stadium isn't going to give them a coin to get coordinators or a competitive coach when Randy Shannon fails.

FSU I think goes beyond the economy. Other than their 8-4 Orange Bowl run this program hasn't been right in a while. Something is a foul in Tallahassee. Jimbo is going to get flack if the O is a Jeff Bowden repeat. Ponder never looked like the answer to me. The natives will be resless if FSU limps to the Jimbo era. Amato is gone and they probably can't touch a big time recruit in South Florida now. The brand is becoming weaker every year. Charlie Ward, Danny Kannel and Weinke are fairy tales to the high school senior today. The landing top players a la UCS around the country because of the FSU brand days are dead. In state recruiting has fallen off due to Florida and 'Bama can start make a play for panhandle players now. No healthy program is giving a home and home to an instate upstart. USF won't even play UCF after their series runs out.

The U and FSU are like a couple of mofo's going into Hustler strip club with a bag of pennies right now.
I love the idea of a neutral site - Cocktail Party, Red River Shoot Out, the old Iron Bowl. Ohio State-Michigan has always been home-and-home, and I'm not sure that any neutral site makes sense (Cleveland? I mean who wants to go there?), so I wouldn't advocate a change for our Game ... but I like Jax for TWLOCP.
There's a fast food place here called Lotteria. When I first came here I thought it was a place to buy lottery tickets.

    A month before I came out here, I got carded buying a scratch ticket. I'm 24 :(
