    We have the best OL coach in the nation (frankly, we were due for that after the Bollman years) and a very attractive depth chart. This is the best time to be at Ohio State if you are an OL recruit if you ask me.

    Well, it is the most logical explanation. That wasn't the point anyway. We didn't have any kids transfer here under similar circumstances and I don't see that changing for Haden or Turner or USC backups or any other former hot prospect.

    No offense to Haden (or JT Turner), but why would we want somebody that couldn't make it at another school? All the kids that I remember transferring here were already established starters at their previous schools (Schlegel, Boren, Kerr).

    One huge difference is teams like Michigan and Nebraska have tremendous fan support. That is the most important thing for the long term success of a program IMO. A good coach can always sell that to recruits.

    The way I read it, this would be be similar to ND's current setup with the Big East. That is, ND would be in Big 12 in all sports but football and they would play at least 3 games each year with the other Big 12 teams in football.     I apologize if this is already discussed but what happens to our ABC contract now that we have 12 teams? Will it be renegotiated? If Big XII is really worth $17 million per team, we should get something around $400 million annually from ABC IMO.
