Yea, like I said, I'm fully aware that I'm being irrational. That said, I carry a special hatred around for Hart. I think it's got a lot to do with his pre-game mouthing and his post-game silence. I could even eek out a modicum of respect for him if he'd come out after we beat them and said, "I should have kept my mouth shut," or, "They're a great team," or, "Despite what I said, I have respect for them." But he escaped from sight after the losses, and then, each following season, started talking smack before The Game, which he again didn't back up. Despite the fact that I hate Michigan with a passion, I respect their tradition and their Yen to our Yang. Oh, I hate Woodson, but he was a great player and a winner and a great participant to the rivalry. Hart just never showed respect, and that bothered me.
Yea, I admit, he put up good numbers and was a fine back, but if I was a Michigan fan, I can't imagine I would ever toot his horn in any respect, given the 0-4; yet, I always hear scUM fans singing his praises. I guess I just don't get it.
