LSU people were really hoping to get him back, say he was grossly misused by the former coaching staff. This could be a sneaky good addition. (Yes, I know our WR coach was his WR coach, but he wasn't designing game plans or calling the plays)

I think Beau Atkinson is an interesting player, the fact that he's still around and wasn't "processed out" tells me that the coaches still see something there. Maybe he just needed some extended time to adjust to the bigger stage and will actually be able to contribute more in 2026.

I keep seeing people saying that this is not sustainable but as long as there are people willing to pay it IS sustainable. The only way it stops becoming a thing is if the people behind the money start saying no. Maybe the market will eventually have some rollback price wise on these players...
