That wasn’t a “tough” question. It was grandstanding. Not only was it almost 30 years ago, but it was discussed ad nauseam when Matt was hired by Detroit. There was nothing new that he was going to uncover.

I don’t think it’s the “shiny toy” thing. Daniels has starting experience in the B1G, so he’s semi proven. Moore definitely has a chance to start, but Daniels is definitely the safe bet.

He was on his way to being that player. He was playing his best ball before the injury. And he was still getting better. Very athletic, strong, and would probably test well.

A high school kid making Coach Lock look small is wild. A skill player. Not even a lineman.

I think those two are the most important players in the state, currently. Others can emerge, but right now those two are the main two who they can’t lose.

Mick deserves his flowers here. The team is healthy and imposing themselves on top quality competition. They have been smacking people, and part of that is from being in great shape.
