I said they were small because he was playing well earlier in the game. Maybe just fatigue from the first game of the season and he’s playing more than he has in a few years. I’ll be watching and rooting for him this season.
Late in the game, he was making a lot of mistakes. Going the wrong way defending the run, didn’t get enough depth and gave up a crucial 3rd down conversion because the QB threw it right over top of him.
The ability is definitely there though. Just has to clean up the small things.

The majority of it comes from people complaining that there were no public campaigns for awards. Like Heisman or even freshman of the year for Jeremiah.
