But if a recruit has hurt feelings because he isn’t feeling the “love” he feels he should receive because a program may have guys higher, you can’t do much about that. You should continue to recruit until he signs or tells you not to, but you can’t let a recruits...
He’s been looking for any reason to not go to OSU after they didn’t push for him in the spring. He wanted to go to Oregon but they didn’t want him either. Not sure why so much fuss about this guy.

Exactly. I totally understand their approach. Even if they miss out on some guys they shouldn’t, it makes sense. Will I always agree with it? No. But I understand it.
Some people you just don’t let get away.
I have a family member that assisted him with the recruiting process. It’s not a good look for OSU.
But I get it. Their strategy isn’t to pay out the wazoo for HS talent. But you can’t explain that to people and have it make sense when another school they’re interested in is offering the world.
They offered the lowest NIL package of all the schools he seriously considered. Then, they came back with another offer that was even lower than the first one.
They gave so much NIL attention to Devin Sanchez and it cost them in the end. They blew a fast break layup.
That’s your interpretation. Some people say he brings it on himself, but the people close to the program feel the opposite. That’s the point. If people in the media constantly tell you a person is one way and then you meet them and they aren’t like that at all, you’ll look at them differently...
